Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Srinagar & Local Sightseeing

Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, transfer to the hotel.
Visit Shankaracharya Temple, situated on the highest hill of Srinagar.
Explore the famous Mughal Gardens: Harwan, Botanical Garden, Pari Mahal, Chashme Shahi, Nishat, and Shalimar, known for their breathtaking landscapes.
Enjoy shopping at a local handicraft shop offering Kashmiri shawls, jackets, carpets, and more.
Leisurely stroll alongside Dal Lake in the evening.
Overnight stay at a hotel in Srinagar.

Day 2 Srinagar – Gulmarg

After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg, renowned for its lush meadows and breathtaking beauty.
Visit the 18-hole Golf Course and enjoy the famous Gondola Cable Car Ride (optional, at your own cost) to Kongdoori and Apparwat.
Activities include photography, horse riding, and shopping in Gulmarg.
Overnight stay at a hotel in Gulmarg.

Day 3 Gulmarg – Pahalgam

Drive to Pahalgam, the "Valley of Shepherds" (100 km, 3 hours).
En route, visit Saffron Fields and the Awantipora Ruins (an 1100-year-old temple of Lord Vishnu).
Enjoy the beautiful countryside, rice fields, and pine forests on the way.
Upon arrival, explore the serene beauty of Pahalgam.
Overnight stay at a hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 4 Pahalgam Sightseeing & Return to Srinagar

Visit Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari (by union cab, at your own cost).
Return to Srinagar in the evening and enjoy a leisurely stroll along Dal Lake.

Day 5 Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar

Full-day excursion to Sonmarg, known as the "Meadow of Gold."
Enjoy activities like trout and masher fishing, and opt for a pony ride to the nearby glaciers (optional, at your own cost).
Return to Srinagar in the evening and spend the night on a houseboat at Dal Lake.

Day 6 Departure from Srinagar

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Srinagar Airport for your departure with beautiful memories of the Kashmir Valley.

Resort and hotel suggestions to suit my budget and strategically selected closer to places of interest was truly 5 star service from the agent. My solo trip was made safe and comfortable. Great sugge (Read More)stions were made to choose places to visit to make the trip fun, enjoyable and memorable. This awesome trip in a very long time was fun and refreshing. The paradise in Kerala will transcend your soul to haven. People are welcoming and friendly. I recommend Varkala tranquil beeches and Kovalam backwaters for the ultimate fun experience. Gods Own Country’s Kitchen is recommended for some great food and live music on the Varkala cliff point. If south temple architecture peeks your interest, then there are a few gems from ancient times hidden here to explore maintaining sanctity and faith in true form. Solo travellers pay couples rate which can be heavy on the purse. South India need to warm up to the idea that solo traveller numbers are increasing, male and female alike and in all age groups. Not only the cost of travel but people’s outlook need to change. Most of the temples here are only for believers in faith. Kanyakumari was crowded during the Diwali break. The seashore here is only to soak in the view. Thiruvananthapuram Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple darshan was divine however fleeting it maybe, but the mandapa which adorns the beautiful sculptures is out of bounds for devotees. The Garbhagudi could be well lit, so the devotees can properly catch a glimpse of the lord and be blessed. Since architecture is out of bounds recommend special entry for swift darshan.
