Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Srinagar
  • Step into the most famous tourist destination of Kashmir, Srinagar! Arrive at the Srinagar airport or railway station, where our representative will warmly welcome you. You will be driven to the hotel, where you can relax and refresh after check-in.
  • Later, proceed for a sightseeing tour in Srinagar and explore its amazing attractions. Visit the famous Mughal Gardens, built in 1619 by the Mughal emperor. These gardens feature amazing architecture, colorful flowers, fountains, peaceful environments, beautiful walkways, pools of water, and a variety of plants.
  • Next, visit the Shankaracharya Temple (also known as Jyesteshwara Temple), a Hindu temple situated on top of the Zabarwan Range in Srinagar.
  • Explore the iconic Dal Lake, renowned for its unique houseboats, locally known as "Shikaras." These beautifully crafted wooden houseboats are a popular accommodation option.
  • At the end of the day, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Srinagar.
  • After breakfast in the morning, begin your journey toward Gulmarg. The drive past colorful villages and rice fields offers an insight into the rich cultural heritage of Kashmir.
  • Gulmarg, one of the most beautiful hill stations in the Kashmir Valley, is also called the Meadow of Flowers. It boasts the world’s highest golf course and is famous for winter sports like skiing.
  • Enjoy a Gondola ride (cable car; at your own cost) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg. The 8-minute ropeway ride takes you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Apharwat Peak. Capture stunning photos of the nearby mountain ranges standing tall like sentinels guarding the natural beauty of the Kashmir Valley.
  • After spending time at the peak, descend back to the Gulmarg base.
  • Return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel.
  • Depart from Srinagar (80 km, approximately 2-3 hours drive). En route, enjoy views of the Sindh River and stop briefly at Ganderbal or Manasbal Lake.
  • Arrive in Sonmarg and explore the Thajiwas Glacier (pony ride or trek; approximately 2-3 hours). Witness the mesmerizing beauty of the glacier.
  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and savor Kashmiri cuisine. In the afternoon, you may opt for river rafting or a stroll along the Sindh Valley.
  • Relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. Stay overnight in Sonmarg or return to Srinagar for an overnight stay.
  • After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam. Situated at 2,133 meters, it is also known as the Valley of Shepherds or Trekker's Paradise.
  • En route, visit the Saffron Fields and Awantipur Ruins, an 1100-year-old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantivarman. Witness the beautiful countryside and lush rice fields along the way.
  • Upon arrival in Pahalgam, check in to the hotel. After lunch, depart for an excursion. 
  • Visit Chandanwadi (at your own cost), The starting point of the Amarnath Yatra.
  • Visit Betaab Valley (at your own cost): Renamed after the Bollywood movie "Betaab," earlier known as Hajan Valley.
  • Visit Aru Valley (at your own cost): A picturesque spot 11 km from Pahalgam, noted for scenic meadows and mountains.
  • Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.
  • After breakfast, explore more of Pahalgam, including Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, Chandanwari Valley, and Baisaran Valley (Mini Switzerland) through union cabs or ponies.
  • In the evening, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay in a houseboat.
  • After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Srinagar airport for your onward journey.
