Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Srinagar
  • Upon arrival at Srinagar Sheikh Ul AlamInt’l Airport. You will be met by our representative and transfer. On arrival at Srinagar we check in to the pre-arranged Hotel. Later we start our Sightseeing tour by visit of Shankaracharya Temple.
  •  In the afternoon, we take a visit to Mughal Gardens, Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century. Then visit to Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) or Mehr-un-Nissa & Chashmashahi (The Royal Spring). The Chashmashahi Mughal garden in Srinagar had been loved by emperors and picnickers alike. 
  • In the evening you take a shikara ride on world famous Dal Lake, where you visit the floating vegetable gardens & Open Dal Lake. While riding the Shikara’s there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching with plentiful species including Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, Grebe etc.
  • Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.
  • After a leisurely breakfast. We depart on an excursion to Sonmarg, which means Meadow of Gold, has its backdrop of snowy mountains against the blue sky. The drive offers incredible scenic beauty, dense pine forests and gigantic mountains. The place provides an ideal base for various trekking routes, high mountain lakes, glaciers, and Sri Amarnath Holy cave. The river meanders along here & abounds with Trout & Mahseer. Sonamarg’s importance lies in the fact that it is the last halt on the Kashmir side for the drive from Srinagar to Leh.
  • Overnight stay at hotel.
  • Early morning after leisurely breakfast we proceed to Gulmarg driving past willow trees, fast flowing streams and lush green meadows. Gulmarg - the meadow of flowers is an apt term for this idyllic flower-laden meadow offering a spectacular view of towering snow-capped peaks covered with dense forests of tall conifers and gigantic fir and pine trees.
  • Stroll leisurely or take pony rides(by your own payment) across the green meadow to one of the world's highest Golf Course. A must is a fun-filled ride in the Gondola lift (by your own payment).
  • Return to Srinagar in the evening and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at Hotel.
  • After a leisurely breakfast, we check out from Hotel & leave for overnight stay at “Pahalgam” called as “Valley of Shepherds”. Pahalgam is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River, Pahalgam (2,130 m) was once a humble shepherd's village with breathtaking views.
  • Enroute visit saffron Fields & 19th Century Awantipura Ruins. Upon arrival, check in to the pre-arranged Hotel.
  • Rest of the day is free to enjoy and explore the Beauty of “Pahalgam” One can go to Aru Valley (10 kms from Pahalgam) which is a fine meadow of picturesque scenery and starting point of trekking of (Liddarwat, Kolahoi Glacier &Trsar Lake) & Betaab Valley.
  • Overnight stay at Hotel in Pahalgam.
  • After Breakfast enjoy rest of the day at leisure. enjoy an excursion to Chandanwadi, Starting point of Amarnath Yatra and Betaab valley (where movie Betaab was shot), later in the afternoon you may choose to visit Aru Valley, a tourist spot close to Pahalgam, This valley is famous for its scenic meadows and pristine mountains.
  • Overnight stay at Hotel in Pahalgam.
  • A warm cup of tea with delicious breakfast should get you ready for the day of activity. Leave from your hotel refreshed and satiated with your breakfast and move towards Srinagar. Check in at Super Deluxe houseboat, freshen up and relax at the luxury of the royal hospitality.

What's Good: We liked every aspect of the tour to Bhutan. The tour and travel agent M/s A V travels Jaigon has done a great job to make the tour very much enjoyable. The hiking to tiger's nes (Read More)t was a challenging one for us the senior citizens ( excluding my son) but gave us much satisfaction. The guide Mr. Tashi was of great help and care. Thanks one and all.
What's Not Good: The fees charged at some places we felt bit higher.

What's Good: ## Bhutan Experience Our journey through Bhutan was largely impressive, with knowledgeable guides who showcased the country's rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes with g (Read More)enuine enthusiasm. The drivers navigated the winding mountain roads with skill and professionalism, ensuring our comfort throughout most of the journey. However, our second night at Paro Rema Resort fell short of expectations in terms of dining. The food quality was disappointing compared to other meals we enjoyed in Bhutan, lacking both flavor and presentation that would be expected at a resort of this caliber. ## Sikkim Portion The transition between destinations proved problematic. Our transfer from Bhutan to Gangtok felt unnecessarily rushed, with a driver who seemed more concerned with completing the journey quickly than ensuring passenger comfort or allowing us to appreciate the scenic route. Upon arrival in Gangtok, we were pleased with our hotel's prime location on MG Road, offering convenient access to local attractions, shopping, and dining options. Unfortunately, the hotel's service standards did not match its excellent location. Staff responsiveness was inconsistent, and several basic amenities were either missing or required multiple requests. Overall, while the Bhutan portion of our tour delivered a memorable experience, the Sikkim segment would benefit from significant improvements to transportation and accommodation service quality.

What's Good: Our trip to Bhutan was unexpected and was very last minutes plan, however our agent Reshma from Yolmo holiday successfully made it worth of money and time both… our guide Sonam De (Read More)na and driver Thupten were both the best I could ever tell, they are very kind and were very adjustable when we changed our itinerary the last minute. We are so satisfied with our trip and will definitely recommend them to our friends and family circle.
