Meet upon arrival at the Airport and check in to your reserved accommodation. In the afternoon, join a sightseeing trip to Tulip Garden and Mughal Gardens, visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of Pleasure), built by Asif Khan, brother-in-law of Jehangir, in 1632 AD, and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), built by Jehangir for his wife, Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake, with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. Drive to the hotel for dinner and overnight in Srinagar Hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers), 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2-½ hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course, with 18 holes. One can also view Nanga Parbhat if the weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek up to Khilangmarg, which can be covered in about 3 hrs. Also, enjoy sled riding on snow. Chair Lifts for mountain rides are also available. Overnight in Srinagar.

After Breakfast, drive to Sonamarg. (Meadows of Gold). The distance of about 83 kms will be covered in about 2-½ hrs. Sonamarg lies in Sindh Valley, streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of the Himalayan Lakes. Enjoy horse riding up to Thajwas glacier and sled riding on snow. In the evening, drive back to Srinagar overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, the driver will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds). En route, visit Saffron fields, Awantipura ruins (an 1100-year-old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwareman), the beautiful countryside on the way, and many rice fields. Drive through the pine forest. Yatra. Check at a hotel in the evening for an overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Full Day Pahalgam, you can also choose to do river rafting in the gushing waters of the Lidder River. You can also visit Betaab Valley and Chandanwari and take a horse-riding trip to Baisaran meadows. Walk through the charming meadows to reach Aru Valley and the Betaab Valley, which gained popularity after getting featured in many Bollywood movies. Walk on the famous snow bridge at Chandwani, a base of the annual Amarnath Ji. In the evening, do a one-hour Shikara ride in Dal Lake. This ride will rejuvenate you, and you will be able to enjoy the majestic views of the mountains around you from the Shikara, too. Also, do not forget to notice the beautiful carpet of lotus flowers all over Dal Lake. After the ride, you will return to your houseboat for dinner and an overnight stay.

What's Good: ## Bhutan Experience Our journey through Bhutan was largely impressive, with knowledgeable guides who showcased the country's rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes with g (Read More)enuine enthusiasm. The drivers navigated the winding mountain roads with skill and professionalism, ensuring our comfort throughout most of the journey. However, our second night at Paro Rema Resort fell short of expectations in terms of dining. The food quality was disappointing compared to other meals we enjoyed in Bhutan, lacking both flavor and presentation that would be expected at a resort of this caliber. ## Sikkim Portion The transition between destinations proved problematic. Our transfer from Bhutan to Gangtok felt unnecessarily rushed, with a driver who seemed more concerned with completing the journey quickly than ensuring passenger comfort or allowing us to appreciate the scenic route. Upon arrival in Gangtok, we were pleased with our hotel's prime location on MG Road, offering convenient access to local attractions, shopping, and dining options. Unfortunately, the hotel's service standards did not match its excellent location. Staff responsiveness was inconsistent, and several basic amenities were either missing or required multiple requests. Overall, while the Bhutan portion of our tour delivered a memorable experience, the Sikkim segment would benefit from significant improvements to transportation and accommodation service quality.
