Great Experience and Location

The Taj experience is great and the hotel itself is impressive and amazing. The room was spacious and clean.

The check in and check out service was very slow and quite tiresome. The staff were overwhelmed and apologetic but it was unpleasant to have to wait to be assisted. We booked a room for 3 but the set up was for two. Had to request for service. The service at the pool bar was very poor. The staff were not able to meet the requests of customers and take very long to get the order. However the pool staff were very helpful and trying their best to ensure service.

Rooms weren't clean and the entire hotel had various bad smells including the room which smelled like damp mold Concierge wasn't helpful at all - recommended a bad breakfast place and couldn't get us dinner reservations at any restaurant we requested but when we would check directly there would be availability

Stunning building in the heart of Mumbai. Staff were exceptional and very accommodating. We happened to stay during their 120th birthday celebrations which guests were invited to attend. A fabulous experience! I also appreciated the lovely gesture of a complimentary birthday cake on arrival to mark a family members birthday. A truly special experience at this historic hotel.
