The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. The shower in our room was fabulous! Very easy check in and out. Friendly and accommodating staff.
The walls were so thin you could hear every word said on either side of us !!! It was very annoying.

If you like beautiful historical homes and great service this is the place for you.
We all enjoyed the breakfast; it was not a hot breakfast, but still tasty and light and healthy . All the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Great location if you are looking to head into Salem but do not want to stay in Salem. Very quiet area, still with several restaurants (great ones) within walking distance. Beautiful building, very comfortable and a great staff.

Overall for the amount of money we spend per night I expected more, wouldn't stay here again.
The location was good for us since we were visiting my daughter and her family in central Marblehead. If you like sweet items for breakfast, they had yogurt, granola, sweet breads and fruit along with coffee.
Need to add some savory items to the sweet breakfast items. It was not a good variety of breakfast foods. You have to climb stairs to get to rooms, so not very convenient when bringing in luggage. The bathroom in one room was a bar size and too small so we requested to move to another room which Will at the front desk handled promptly for us. We were then placed in another room with regular size sink but the shower had no shelf, or area to place soap, shampoos etc. so we had to place them on the shower floor which was inconvenient.

The property was beautiful. The exterior color of the house is more of a dark grey rather than the blue in the picture but it was gorgeous. Very cozy and comfortable.
