Disappointing

The Crown is not qualified to be rated as a five star property. - the breakfast is dry and cold, worse than a 3 star hotel. Served in old cutlery and trays - the staff is cold and rude. If you ask for an extension for 1/1.5 hours they are not customer friendly. I made a request as someone was unwell and they impolitely cut me down. However later on accepted when I went through the entire drill of explaining - the restaurant staff is lazy and untrained. Please do the needful to qualify for a five star category It is ideally a 3 star hotel prized for a 5 star

If it hadnt been for the friendly staff, this was one of the worst hotels that we have stayed at anywhere in the world.

The location was pretty good with a view of the river and the staff were friendly.

The property is seriously in need of renovation. The restaurant where breakfast was needed a complete overhaul. The rooms were okay but the bathrooms need upgrading. The pictures are very misleading as the hotel looks nothing like the pictures!

Old school luxury with a price-tab to match.

Fantastic location, very close to the old Portuguese areas of the city with their beautiful old buildings. Amazing views over the lit-up Atal Setu bridge at night time. Staff were courteous and friendly.

Although there were many staff at the hotel, the Hanging Garden bar was understaffed with only one waiter. It wasnt at all busy but took 30 minutes to get a couple of drinks. Perhaps they should concentrate less on the casino and more on the restaurants. It was very expensive relative to other similar properties weve stayed at.

Beautiful hotel. Lovely staff.. Would stay again.

A quaint hotel. Charming Breakfast was varied and delicious. The rooms were very large. I had a view of the Mandovi River which was excellent but my dad had an awful view of all the air-conditioning units outside

It was a real feat to pay them the deposit required to secure our booking. My international c/card did not work nor did bank transfer. In the end my cousin had to go pay the hotel in cash His is listed as a 5 star international hotel well... Don't know what everyone else does from overseas

Very good stay

Nice room with modern amenities, great river view , centrally located, very good indian breakfast with also continental options, swimming pool and gym were cool. Staff was helpful.
