Comfortable beds and a decent size room
It took way too long to check in. We arrived at 3pm and the line was out the door. When we returned 2 hours later there was no line but it still took 20 minutes for us to check in. Check out was not much better.

Proper old fashioned luxury stay in excellent location.
Well appointed rooms with a taste of luxury. Excellent location, and lovely breakfast.
Can be a long wait at check in and check out. Would like to have had the option to split double bed into twin for our kids.

not a lot of space for dropping off when arriving

Too long check in, no umbrellas on a torrential day, very below par breakfast with baked goods cut in threes one cheap sliced cheese available and cold hot? breakfast , no valet parking, no attention to detail, bins were not clean I'm sure there was urine in one in the kitchen, disgusting. Had to ring for towels at the pool. No attempt made whatsoever to make our stay extra nice on our very special occasion, we are long standing and loyal patrons but not any more. This hotel has gone down hill.
