Super disappointing

It feels like living in the 1900's with very limited options, an experience which is not worth the money or time or choice. It's a really sad place. No life, it's totally dead. Very few not sufficient facilities, lots of don't's, rules to abide by, it feels claustrophobic. At least provide toiletries those that can be used. I don't use soap for bathing, yet since there was no other option, I opened it only to realize it was so bad in smell that a human can't use it. And such basic necessities were missing, felt like it's not even a 1 star property. I felt they were charging just for the property, the experience of living in an old villa but with restrictions & no facility. The only relief during the entire stay was to meet Mr.Lindsay, the GM there. He is a gem of a man whose hands are tight, when it comes to taking decisions as to how to run the property. I think the owners need to understand that in today's world, in order to run a property like this, they need to modernise & uplift the standards still keeping their core values intact, else it will soon see a dead end.

A lot of things: 1. No mirror in the room 2. The net around the bed was useless, without functionality. 3. The electricity goes off 10times in a day & sometimes it takes time to come back. It's a big problem in the night. They do hv back back but it took time to start. 4. It has jail rules. They should shift this property to an island far off in the Andamans. It's not suited for Goa. 5. There is only one option for vegetarians in the menu, if at all a solo traveller like me wants to dine in. If u make a rule like cannot eat in the room or no food from outside, then you should give good options to eat at the hotel. 6. It's scary in the night. No one is found after 10pm in the lobby or the reception. There's no phone in the room. If there's an emergency, don't know who & how to call. 7. There are laborers roaming around the pool area while I'm in the pool, which is not tolerable, it's a breach of my privacy. Apparently some work was going on in the property they said. 8. The breakfast is pathetic. 9. I did not get a bill at checkout. 10. I will never stay or recommend anyone to stay in this property.

Disappointing

Place yo go back and get sleep.

The infrastructure has deteriorated to a level which is abysmal. For the pricing, the quality of amenities etc are sub par.

A/c is not hooked to a generator which in Goa is a challenge Quality of toiletries is below par and many toiletries are non existent. They should highlight on the site that they dont provide toiletries Billing process is all over the place They dont have a basic bar Too many rules that makes you feel that they want to treat you like a child No access to beach and no tie ups for any access

The property is restored Portuguese bungalow which has been restored aesthetically. The service has a personal touch and is responsive to requests. The breakfast was substantial and v. good
