The service was pathetic. There is nothing homely about this home stay - it is a B&B. When we visited, the owner was away (not sure if they even stay there), and the lodge was run by the help, who were least interested in serving guests and always looking disengaged. On the first day, we ordered tea, which never came. The next day, on requesting for noon tea, we were told that it cannot be made as the owner is away and the resources are limited. When we asked for the owner's number, it wasn't given to us. The breakfast service was extremely slow, no towels kept in the bedroom, and the staff constantly defending - to the point that we were told that it's our problem if we are not liking the service, as we are just one of the many people who visit the place. I would say this is highly avoidable, there is nothing great about the location either
Throughout our 8 night Kashmir trip, we stayed in four hotels, most of which were home stays / B&Bs, and at no other place did we feel so unwelcome and disappointed!
