Nice Christmas visit in downtown Asheville
Great location in downtown Asheville. Close to most everything we wanted to do. Valet parking is expensive ($17/day) but well worth it on a rainy day. Without it we would have gotten soaked on the day of our departure. The rooms are very large and comfortable. The hotel is beginning to show its age, but we found it to be fine for our purposes. Also, the hotel is pet- friendly, a consideration for us.
The hotel's hot water supply was compromised, and we didn't have hot water for a shower our last day.

Very nice. Perfect for anniversary celebration.
Location is perfect. Rooms are large and comfortable. Setting is unique. Local restaurants are fantastic and Im walking distance.
I like my home better than any hotel. But this is a super nice hotel.

It was alright.
The location was fantastic and the spa was great.
The bathroom floor was dangerously slippery. The hotel was quite dated for the price. We had a spa appointment for the huge elite couples package, but we werent able to check in early to our room. Also, the restaurant attached to hotel wasnt open based on the hours online or posted.

Wonderful experience!
We enjoyed our stay very much! We could walk to just about anywhere we wanted to go! The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly! Would definitely stay here again!

It was very close to shopping and wonderful dining. Our family including our grandchildren, son, and daughter-in-law had a mini get away after Thanksgiving. It was the perfect way to wind down the holiday and shop for Christmas without even getting in a car. This is a wonderful place to stay, even giving us champagne as we were checking in !!

Mediocre at best
Location was great, convenient to everything .
Shower was never hot in the 4 nights we stayed and the bed was uncomfortable. Advertised coffee in the lobby but only available one day.
