Fireplace was cozy! It's about a quarter of a mile from the strip, even closer to a really great pancake house. Plenty of room and a little kitchenette! Microwave and fridge. I loved that there was a separate area with a counter and mirror to get ready because the bathroom was very small. That was convenient. FYI: there's no room service. If you need new towels just exchange dirty ones at the front office. You have to request trash bags. Not all rooms are the same, so it is a good idea to call ahead and see if you'd like your room if you're booking third party. If you like coffee, bring your own grounds and creamer. There's two to go coffee shops open within mile on the strip, Starbucks and Coffee and Company in the Village. Unfortunately most things in Gatlinburg open at 10, unless you're having your coffee with a sit down meal. The fridge is plenty big enough for full size cream or milk and there's a coffee pot in the room. The resort provides paper towels and small cups, as well as complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. The sheets were obviously fresh and smelled so nice! For 5 nights the week before Christmas we paid $550ish and that's a steal! Overall I felt that this was a great place for us for the money we spent. We really enjoyed our room!
