The Gateway Hotel, Marco Polo, has a perfect location with easy access to shops and restaurants. The rooms are slightly old but maintained well. The staff, especially on the 17th floor, provide fanta (Read More)stic service and are efficient and friendly. The hotel is conveniently located near ferries and MTR, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, guests enjoyed the hospitality, variety of cuisines, and the stunning view from the hotel.

Except for the additional 10% charge which was not listed, everything was ok

Very near shopping areas

The fact that after Booking.com said that the cost on the Booking.com confirmation notice was inclusive of all fees and taxes, the property Marco Polo Gateway charged me an additional 10% on top of everything Booking.com charged me, this disappointed us since I felt the staff were not up front during check in and even assured us that what was written in the bookin.com app was what they will charge us. This did not happen!!

Superb

Overall, it's a good stay in the hotel.

A few minutes walk away from Tsim Sha Tsui metro station, my family and I didn't realise we were outside the hotel as the sign is not really noticeable. The staffs were helpful and approachable, the check in process is smooth. As I requested to add a bed, I was told that the bed was not ready. However, We were appreciative that the cleaning lady laid the bed within minutes immediately after we entered the room.

The pillows are quite soft which I couldn't get use to it, I have to use two soft pillows for sleep instead. It would be good if firmer pillows could be provided.
