The Five10 Hot Springs hotel is located in a restored old building in downtown Hot Springs, with beautiful views of the mountains and historic downtown. It offers exceptional walkability, being close (Read More) to hiking trails and the historic bathhouses. The rooms are nice but not extraordinary, and parking can only be done through valet. However, the hotel has great history and the service is good. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to restaurants, overlook tower, and the gangster museum. Some negatives include issues with the downstairs bar and the small room size.

Superb

Quiet / Clean / Comfortable place to sleep.

Great stay for the price. Hit all of my needs (big room, comfortable bed, big bathroom, clean, good water pressure, nice towels).

A few more plugs or USB ports would be nice for charging phones/accessories.

Good value, but could use a bit more

The location was great and the unit was clean. Parking with easy access to our car was a big plus! The shower got hot quickly and had great water pressure. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with what we needed.

As many others have stated, the shower door is not efficient and water got all over the floor. Also, the shower had a low spot that held water, which got pretty cold and gross by the end of our stay. The biggest issue we had was our heater did not work. The air conditioner seemed to only blow cold air, even when turned to "heat" and set at a high temperature. It was a cool weekend in the Ozarks, and we were freezing in the room!

The bed was clean and comfortable.

Dangerous part of town. No signage or instructions on how to enter building. No light at entrance. No knobs on door. Finally found code in 10,000 word email. "Lock box at your feet. Doesn't usually work, just keep trying. Key doesn't always work in door, but don't damage it in frustration because it's custom from Europe." Finally propped phone flashlight so I could use both hands to fumble with lockbox in cold rain. Inside No signage. Wandered through drywall dust to start trying doors on second floor. One finally opened after trying them for 15 more minutes. Room was 57 degrees and no instruction on how to turn on heat. No furniture, closet or hook to hang anything. Piled my clothes on floor. Went back down to find car had flight tire. AAA tech came to pull screw from tire and said no one parks on that street because it is a dangerous construction zone. Owner sent email saying please contact us, but didn't provide any contact info.

Just OK for short couple stay

Room was spacious, convenient enough location by foot.

1. Main entrance's smart lock system was not in place so had to use the conventional 4 digit code in a lock box to obtain a key that opens the main entrance. That was fine except the lock box was finnicky and on the second night of our stay, it simply would not accept the code we entered (to turn the thumb knob down). This was distressing with a newborn waiting for a change. There was no direct contact number to the host, or at least the number went to a screened voicemail first. After maybe 15min of fidgeting, my husband finally managed to get it to open by using a bottle opener as a lever. 2. We had 2 King suites (1 on ground floor, 1 on first floor). The ground floor suite had the "living room" which was essentially a square table with 2 chairs, or at least I assume that is the living room. That ground floor suite also had a standing clothes rack which was helpful because there was barely any hanging space on the walls anywhere. The first floor suite did not have the table-chair set nor the standing clothes rack so the whole place feels inconsistent. Overall the pictures does look better than in person. The idea of flipping an old building as accommodations is a good idea but the quality of finishes is lacking. Power sockets are a little loose when I plugged in my multiplug wall adapter. Turning on the bathroom light simultaneously turns on the vent (loud) as well so not great for those who would like to sleep with some light on or have a baby. Bathroom sliding door only has a handle on the outside, none on the inside. The entire unit only has ONE hanging rod which has space for ONE towel.

Brand new in a great location.

Very large room that is brand new and very clean with a great shower.

There was no desk or coffee making facilities. Also no shower gel etc. The door code locks are very sensitive and I kept getting double presses. 4pm was a late check in and there are no staff at all. It is described as a hotel but really it is more of an apartment block. Also there is only one front door key in the key safe so if one resident forgets to put it back then everyone else would be locked out.

a total waste of time and money.

This is a self-service lodging. I could not access the lock box to get the key. There was no one there to assist. I called David, the owner, who does not live in Hot Springs, for help. It was late and the area around the lodging is not the best. Poorly lit, deserted street at that time of night. I asked if I could just cancel my booking. He agreed. But I have been charged anyway.

one night in Hot Springs

large room, modern. Comfortable beds. Nice bath towels. good water pressure. Lots of outlets (though no counters or table to put devices on) Once we got in things were great. Lots of potential but doesn't appear to be completed.

too complicated to get in to the building and room. very tech. no instructions for the 'smart TV'. - for a 'baby boomer' No hand towels or wash clothes. - They did have nice big bath towels, and one dark make up towel though but that's it. Could use a couple of more trash cans. Need more counter space and/or tables in bathroom and bedroom area. all the lights in the main area are on one switch - would be better if the luggage rack and "kitchen" are had separate lights for living and bedroom areas. need tables by beds and lights for reading etc. as there was only one
