Exceptional

Staff was honest & courteous. My wife lost her ear ring in the room & we weren't aware of this. When we came back in the evening we saw ear ring was kept in the tray in the bathroom. Big Thank you for their behavior. Food was delicious.

Not recommended for the price - Lots of negatives!

- Close to the beach - Exceptionally friendly staff - Food / breakfast variety and taste - Quick Room service - Great pool side sitting area

Lots of things to not like. We stayed 3 days in 4* hotel in North Goa and 3 days in this resort. Prices were almost the same per night for both the places. However, that's where the similarity ended!! Lots of issues that the Country Inn management needs to look into 1. Staff is great, but is gorssly understaffed - just 2-3 people caterging to food/drinks for the entire resort. It was becoming chaotic every evening 2. Room - Beds were sunken, very bad quality. TV is old andrid and is struggle to work 3. Bathroom - No toileteries provided. Even hand towel was missing when we arrived. Towels given were leaving lint on your body on using. Broken toilet roll holder. Worst was that the bath area has one side with glass enclosure, and the main side with a shower curtain, whose length is not enough. So, after beach, if one takes a bath, the water flows out via curtains to rest of bathroom, making it very messy with all the beach sand. 4. Wifi is very patchy - keeps on dropping on and off 5. Lots of power cuts and fluctuations. 6. No mini-fridge in room - it seemed it had been removed as a cupboard with provision for fridge was there in room, but empty, as the fridge seemed to have been removed. 7. Swimming Pool was really dirty!! - I asked and was told that the water filter is not working, but will be fixed soon. On the day of our departure, we saw it getting fixed - so no swimming for us for whole stay! Its a bit dated and not managed/maintained very well. Esp for the price we had to pay, which was, as I mentioned earlier, same as the 4* hotel we stayed in North Goa with excellent features, amenities (Gym, Spa, working pool, kids play area, a massively huge breakfast buffet etc...). If paying the same price, I'd expect atleast some similar level of service and amenities, but it was a huge difference. In short, not worth the price they are charging. Looks good on photo, but that's pretty much it.

Pathetic and wont recommend further to anyone

It has perfect location with just 3-4 mins walk to Varca Beach. But rest all - its all pathetic. Old and broken property / outsourced restaurant which does not care at all neither for quality nor for taste.

Old and broken property with no intent to improve. Everyone looks like just doing the job with no responsibility at all. In my case, washroom was smelly, sewage pipe broken and hot water issue. Despite raising it everyday and promised by management that it will be fixed in some hours, it never happened and i stayed in that condition for all 4 days. As a joke, team offered me to use washroom from other villa while staying in the same villa.

- I understand that the demand is high during December but high price comes with high expectations and property is not really worth 31k for 2 days. Atleast not worth of CountryInn tag. - Rooms are small. Mattresses were too soft. - Washroom was not at expectation. Water stays stagnant on the floor. Small shower area. Door was too dangerous and closes with high force. Exhaust fan was not working either.

I liked the location since it was 5 mins walking from the beach rest it is bad property

Breakfast was terrible Over Priced ( We paid 10K per night and pet charges extra) Old Style Rooms Wifi Not Working (When asked them they told it is shut from BSNL)

Despite a few problems,overall my holiday was very good because of

All the food I sampled was excellent. But most of all I was struck by the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff at this hotel. Speaking as an older, solo traveller I was so impressed by the consideration and care of all the staff towards me.The bar man in particular was consistently cheerful and very amusing company which was important for me being a solo traveller. General cleanliness on site was very good.

The shower drainage was poor as the bathroom tended to get flooded when the shower was used. The choice of drinks in the bar was very limited. no wine at all. The gaps between the steps going down into the swimming pool were too great for me to manage so I was unable to use the pool.
