Small but clean and exactly what we needed for a great stay!

The facilities are good as you have access to the other arena hotels next door. Beach front and lots of restaurants nearby.

The rooms are quite small, but the balcony was where we spent most of our time so thats ok. The rooftop pool is a couple buildings down and also pretty small but good for views and a few photos . The beach is right next to the hotels so it was a very good choice for us.

1) Awful check-in experience. After a long flight and a boat transfer we sat in the lobby with other guests for about 40 minutes to get our room (we arrived at around 6 pm). The first room they gave to us did not match what we booked (view on the cafes roof instead of sea view). They changed the room, the new room was on the 5th floor with a good sea view but was small. This is their common practice to give a worse room than what was booked (we noticed same situations with other guests). 2) Extremely loud music almost every evening which continues after 11 pm. You can hear the music like you are on the dance floor with closed window in the room. The music never stops at 11 pm as were told to us by the receptionist (they always lie). 3 out of 6 nights we came to the reception and asked to switched off the music. One night the music was switched off only at 00:06 after our numerous complaints. The staff at the reception either smiles or does not react to your complaints. 3) Awful breakfast with chemical juices and Indian food. The only eatable meal is omelette for which you need to wait in a line. 4) Zero service in the cafes/restaurants nearby on the island. You wait 30 minutes to get the menu, 30 minutes to order, 30 minutes to get your cold meal, and then 30 minutes to pay. 5) Awful speed boat transfers. The boat is always fully packed with people and sometimes with loud music on the board. When we were leaving they dropped us at Male instead of the airport (although we asked several times), so we took a ferry boat transfer by ourselves to reach the Velana airport.

First Malidives' experience

We liked almost everything provided by hosts and hotel. The room was clean enough once arrival, and personnel cleaned it up in daily basis changing towel, bringing water and so. The restaurant services is good, the food is tasty and menu is variable with different stuff from day to day. The beach is quite good, if not taking into consideration some particals of seewead.

The attraction services was not dedicated with details, especially with weather and wave/sea status. But all disputes were solved accordingly on place. We have no any claims anymore. Thanks for hotel managers and staff for kind resolving that.
