Not worth the amount we spent and would have preferred a better quality experience but thankful to have met the staff!

The hotel is on a dirt road that can feel quite daunting going up in a taxi late at night especially if you dont expect it which we didnt. When we arrived the staff greeted us wonderfully and we sat down to welcome fresh coconut water. We were shown to our room and were told we were upgraded to the Dream Villa Suite. We were expecting something beautiful and the room was oddly sized with very strange features which did not go nor were comfortable. The room seemed to be mismatched decor wise as though we were in some kind of weird museum/art gallery. It was not cozy and felt uncomfortable to sleep with. A random massage chair and the walls were old and peeling. The whole place needed redoing and we were shocked to know this was their TOP room. The bathroom was big as it was was under what seemed like needing a renovation, the toilet was this random cubicle looking thing which really didnt match the room decor, theres a water slide in the room but its old and looks worn, we tried it and I scraped my arm going down it as its rough in places. The upgrade was sweet but we would have preferred a simple well done, clean room which wasnt full of insects and mosquitos. The previous hotels wed been in would put mosquito repellant incense at night to ensure a deterrent, there was no turn down service which bearing in mind its a 5* property was poor. The first night we couldnt sleep in the room as it was full of creepy crawlers and the biggest spider over ever seen! They then told us they would fumigate the room so we spent a night in a different room which funnily we preferred 100% more than this upgrade.

Just to give more context on the shower, it Spurts water in random places and having a broken Bluetooth system which again made no sense why this was even a feature. There are at least 6 different knobs to choose from which each had the WORST water pressure and seemed broken. The shower was not engineered well at all! What made the shower worse is it floods, which means you have to jump around huge puddles of water to get around the bathroom. The staff we exceptional on how much they wanted to help. But if Id spent what the room was worth 1000 + a night, Id have been FUMING! If youre an influencer, Id say this place would be ideal to get your instagram pics as they have specific staff who create drone worthy shots to go on social media which boosts your engagement-but for regular couples like us, I wouldnt invest in staying in the dream villa. The food was sub par and youd be better off going out and getting more for your money. They charge you only on USD $ so it can be way more than youre willing to spend bearing in mind youre in Bali and the best food costs less than 5! We met the owner who was pleasant but didnt seem to have a clue about the state of the room we were in and thought wed got very lucky which Id beg to differ! He needs to invest in renovations ASAP!

Paradise & Heaven

Everything was well maintained, the staff were quick to your service when needed! The views were just beautiful, had us both waking up early to watch the sunrise. Would highly recommend for anyone who is thinking about staying here! Overall 10/10 for this hotel. A special thank you for the team as well for helping set up & making my proposal the most memorable for me & my partner. We will see you guys next year !

Perfect place

Weve stayed at River villa 2 and Eden villa, both was more than amazing. Very calm and peaceful environment, very kind and responsive staff, clean and tidy place. Highly recommended. Thank you so much Kadek and everyone. Note: Dont miss the massage! It was GREAT experience.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel in Ubud with spectacular views to relax and unwind

Very unique and boutique property. The scenery was great. The infinity pools and day beds were eye catching. Breakfast was delicious. Butler service was very attentive.

A little far away from Ubud Main strip. We thought they could have done a better job cleaning our balcony and pool on a daily basis. Should have provided us with more than 1 bath towel each per day.

Incredible experience!!! Must stay here if you travel Ubud!! Absolutely loved the view, facilities, food, lovely staff and room services! The view is much more beautiful than photos!!
