Exceptional

Charming and full of character

Great value for money! Perfect location to walk into Dublin City centre near shops and bars! Loved the living room where they had complimentary Whisky and macaroons! Will definitely stay here again when Im back in Dublin and I have recommended to my friends for a cosy hotel.

It served the purpose for my trip.

Check-in was easy. The room was set in an old house (only 4 rooms in total), with traditional fixtures and fittings. Location-wise it was excellent, within walking distance of Stephen's Green and the town centre. There were pastries, cereals and tea/coffee facilities in the room downstairs. No issues with noise.

It was fairly basic in terms of the bed and facilities. Nothing too flashy, but enough for an overnight stay.

Fabulous value in a great location.

Great value accommodation in a prime location with superb access to transport within Dublin, but also a great walk into the city. We were also able to have access to fabulous restaurants locally.

It was all ok... But expensive

No tea or coffee in room but had a kettle Bathroom light not working, and when pointed out to cleaner he said it's always like that Dusty light in room and bad finishing to paint and walls in such a lovely period property

Location to St Stephens Green.was 10 minutes away. On site parking

Horrible and cold place

The only positives were: the room is historic and cool, the location is central enough and the receptionists (2 guys on saturday night and sunday afternoon) were really helpful. We thank them for their help and efforts. Nothing positive beyond this.

Never ever staying here again. We stayed for two nights in October. The heating never worked. We called twice and further asked assistance from the Kilronan House reception, and the heating was never working. Each time they said, since the room is upstairs, it takes a couple hours to heat. That never really happened. Noone took responsibility and never tried to correct their wrongdoing. They said to plug the smallest possible electrical heater on until the radiator starts working. Since the windows were very old, all the cold weather was coming inside anyways, and we froze both nights. It was horrible. I cannot stress this enough, the weather outside was around 5 to 8 degrees and we froze. We left sick from the premises. We paid 175 euros per night for this comedy show. I pity every single cent we paid here. Stay away.
