I liked my room and the view from the balcony. The room is small but very clean, the bed confortable and the ac a nice plus. You share the Floor just with another room, so u have plenty of space with the kitchen, livingroom and the balcony. I was on the second Floor ( not in the mainhouse ) and the view is very nice. There is a watherfilter so u can refill your bottels. There was also a laundrymachine in Our kitchen.

I did not know about the second House so I was a bid dissapointet that the garden was not the one from the pictures. The second House has no garden, but the balcony made me happy again.

Superb

The location is great, walking distance from the restaurants and the market even though you still need a car to move further to Le Morne kitelagoon. The atmosphere was relaxed and staff very helpful. Room was clean. Overall good value for money. Amazing view from the top floor.

Dogs in the neighborhood, sometimes loud barking.

Nice place with friendly atmosphere

House is in a quiet neighborhood with a nice garden, you have everything you need in the house, you can go up to terrace for an amazing sunset. Owner is friendly and helpful, arranged a barbecue at garden for guests.

Good value in a handy location but more of a share house vibe than guest house

The property is well located in La Gaulette, there is space to park for free and the area seemed safe. There are restaurants and a good sized supermarket in a walkable distance however having is the most convenient way to see more of the island. There are lots of things to see and do in the south west of the island. It is a sociable house, more like a share house or student house than a guest house but we met some nice people and there were kittens. The room had air conditioning which worked well and a ceiling fan, sometimes that was all we needed. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room was a good size overall. There was also a mosquito net and a full length mirror which is very handy, plus plenty of plug sockets which take both British and EU plugs. The WiFi in the room was fine, no issues with reliability or speed. There is access to a washing machine & clothes line which was also useful. It was quiet at night and we werent disturbed by any outside noise.

Although it was convenient to have an en-suite bathroom I would actually not recommend this option as I think the bathrooms that were separate were bigger and better equipped. The bathroom in our room was very small and there was nowhere to hang a towel or put a toothbrush - the shelf and towel hanger in the photos are no longer there. The shower is in need of a curtain as it is almost impossible to stop the water going all over the floor. Although the bed was comfortable the sheets didnt fit properly (it is 2 singles pushed together). I think it would also help to provide information on the room card about where to get clean towels, bedding and loo roll for those that are staying longer. Both the en-suite bathroom and shared kitchen look quite worn and could be cleaner, some of this could be ingrained dirt due to age and wear or lack of deep cleaning. Pool table is nice to have but is warped so you cant play on it properly.

Not worth for money

Very hard to check in, got info about check in with 2mobile numbers, one for morning check in and the other one for afternoon, nobody picked up phone for at least half an hour, then first morning number picked up (it was morning time) and lady said I have to call the other number, again none picked up phone! Finally someone texted me on WhatsApp that our room is upstairs ready....
