Lift security

1. View of the room. 2. Reception of staff during check in.

1. Expect better lift security feature to access to room. 2. The power point at the pantry is faulty. Hence need to bring the kettle to another point when using. 3. Appreciate the restaurant staff to show more patience when answering enquiry. E.g. we asked for direction to toilet. 1 staff simply replied "up escalator, turn right". The other staff was kinder to show us where is the escalator.

Disappointing

Disappointing with the receptionists response and action in room selection

We are healthy 6 family members (a parent with 4 teenagers) booking 3 rooms for 5 nite stays. 1 nite stay 17th Dec is OK. We got 3 rooms same as pictures we booked in the booking list. But on 19th Dec your nite receptionist on duty - Queen & Sophia gave us 3 rooms-1501,1502 & 1508 without telling us room1502 is totally different (not the same type as room 1502 & 1508) from what we registered in your booking platform. We found out the room is not meant for healthy adult & it has many defects which not suitable to stay in. We made a strong complaint to your counter desk and a replacement room 1519 was immediate given to us. Both the receptionists only said "SORRY" to us with no further explained on the questions raised by me on the spot. All the while they just kept quiet as I found they are not well trained and experience in their choice of rooms assist to me & my family. Hope the hotel management can answer the following questions :- 1) What is type room 1502 ? Whom should stay this type of room ? 2) Did we request for room 1502 type ? Certainly "Not" what we booked for, then on what reason you gave me room 1502 ? 3) Why both receptionists kept quiet throughout the conversation upon my desk complaint ? 4) Why not giving me all 3 rooms the same standard type ? 5) I see the room 1502 is downgrade for my hotel stay, why no update or compensate me after I made the complaint on this matter ? Only reason is your hotel is fully booked thus you give me this a defective & downgrade room 1502 Other 5-6 Stars Hotel will update me if my booking room is not available upon checking in. 5) Defective in room 1502 - Broken tiles at entrance -easily cut when bare foot walking around - A weird smell in room & toilet ( Non Hygiene ) - TV is not working 6) Defects in room not fixed to stay and why still assign to guest ? We tool a few photos of room 1502 to prove we are actually being assigned to this type of room.

Very good

I would probably stay here again if the price was right.

The room was large and the view was amazing. A short walk takes you along the ocean front, this was lovely after a long flight. A huge shopping centre is attached to the hotel. The airport transfer bus was convenient.

The room looked tired and needed a refit.

Superb

Close to airport in a dynamic area

The staff are welcoming and helpful. The room is clean with an unblocked view. It is great that the complimentary water is replenished everyday. The hotel is close to the airport and is just above a big shopping mall (outlets). The MTR station is just a short stroll away. The free shuttle between airport and the hotel is fantastic.

The breakfast is good but a bit ordinary. Noodle soup is available, but my bowl of noodle only came with one fishball (!). Although the MTR station is within reach, downtown is about 40 min (by MTR) away. So, the hotel is great for short stay (1 or 2 nights) around the airport if you do not need to go to downtown but want a dynamic place to stay.
