Very good

We enjoyed the fact that the hotel was right on the beach. Staff were super friendly. Close to the public bus stops.

The options when it comes to Breakfast - you have to choose from an Al'aCarte menu with 5 options - 1 of which was not available during the stay. Facilities are basic - pool, beach - that's it. Hotel boasted about a DJ / Pool party on the weekends - but there wasn't one. Nothing to do with the Hotel - however its nice to know before you book - there isn't a variety places to eat near the Hotel - you would have to drive / take public transport to Grand Baie or further up. Some Hotels nearby refused us to have dinner at their establishment.

A very special location in the North, absolutely worth visiting!

The location is fantastic, there is a beautiful beach right next to the hotel, so you can enjoy a wonderful view and beautiful days on the sandy beach The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, also very clean and cozy. The restaurant offers a great selection of food and drinks for every taste And the pool area! Really a great place to rest and enjoy the island life

This Hotel is next to the public Beach of Mont Choisy. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel employees were very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was la card of 6 options which are 3 sweet breakfast and 3 savory breakfast. It's not a place for people who like to have a good breakfast cause the size of the portion.

Excellent location, nice pool Good location of restaurant Nice roof top bar and communal terrace

Balcony no views (when booking it said garden view, but you see a palm and back of another building) Only one chair in the room, we would have expected two chairs and a small table on balcony Internet in the room was not to my expectation, lost connection on phone and laptop all the time.

We booked a room with partial sea view. It was beautiful with modern furniture. The restuarnt had a lovely view of the ocean with shades of blue. The resturant served loved food too, we were on half board and the signaature dishes were mouth watering *chefs kiss*. A big shout out Jarred the hotel's manager and his reservations team who sorted out a blunder that WE created while making online booking and boy did they not sort it out for us in a very professional manner, went over and above and just exceeded our expectations. Listen, I can go on and on about the positive treatment we got from this establishment. The service we received from the hotel including the young waiter who was serving us, so sorry I forgot his name but it has a "shhh" sound in it, he was amazing and so was everyone else employed at the hotel. Mystik Lifestyle was actually the last of the three accommodations we booked at the island, we most definately saved the best for last. Right at the main road for us to easily take public transport and that saved us a lot of money. I have already "sold" the accommodation to friends and family and trust me when I say, WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Nice little hotel in a beautiful location

Clean nice rooms. Pool and surroundings very comfortable and appealing. Food was great! Breakfast only 5 opinions you get bored pretty quick! Staff in super-friendly. The surroundings between the hotel and the sea are so full on palm trees, that there was no sea view from our room! Views from the pool and terraces are great, beautiful sunset

Gorgeous hotel in the perfect position on the beautiful Mont Choisy beach. Modern & clean, huge bedroom & bathroom with TV, tea, coffee, toiletries etc. Staff all very pleasant & the restaurant overlooking the pool is excellent. A couple of good restaurants nearby in walking distance & a lovely walk along the beach to Troux aux Biches. A fantastic, great value stay, would definitely return.

The coffee machine at breakfast is slow but no big deal.

Our money was stolen from the luggage room!!!

I strongly recommend you to avoid this hotel! We left our money in a hidden wallet in a backpack in a luggage room for a couple of hours, while we were chilling by the pool and waiting for the taxi. Unfortunately, only in a taxi on a way to different hotel we noticed that we don't have how to pay for the taxi anymore! We contacted General Manager of the hotel and he told us that we will get our stolen money back, but only if we delete our reviews on different platforms. We agreed, but it's been a month and he is still saying that they are conducting "investigation". What "investigation"? You can check CCTV footage - it's simple as that, but probably there isn't CCTV footage at all.. I have all the communication with General Manager, communication with different platforms asking them to delete reviews, but honestly now I just want to warn others - be careful. Hotel staff can keep the money - it's seriously shocking how some cash is more important than hotel's reputation..

A beautiful place with some areas for improvement

+ The hotel has lovely exteriors and dcor of public areas. + Swimming pool is quite nice. + Dinner HB menu is diverse and interesting to explore. Bread at dinner and croissants at breakfast are simply delicious! + We were lucky to get an early check-in at 11:30 am (instead of 2 PM) with no extra payment. Greatly appreciated. + There's also a free option to use the hotel facilities, including public shower, after check-out. This is very helpful when the hotel is booked and no late check-out is possible. + The DJ on Fridays and Saturdays is awesome! + Bar on the top floor is beautiful and the staff there is great, every barmen welcoming and efficient. + Security staff at the hotel entrance is super nice and friendly. Ladies at the reception are really nice, too, even gave us a repellent when we went to the Botanical Garden. Thank you for caring!

- Slow service at dinner and breakfast (at least 45-60 min at breakfast, 90+ min at dinners). I have never experienced a service this slow in any of the hundreds of hotels I've been to. - No water or any other included drink at Half Board system never seen this before. Usually, at least one drink of choice is included, and water is provided by default. - Cockroaches of various sizes were spotted in the room and on the balcony multiple times. A red balcony chair (even though old) leaves red paint marks on clothes. Be careful! - No change of beach towels for the whole stay of 9 days. Probably, we had to ask for this. Also, sunbeds at the pool were not cleaned regularly: every morning they were covered in yesterdays sand and often bird droppings... Though I had no problem to clean it all myself. - We got the room with a heavily leaking conditioner leaving large puddles of water on the floor and some of our things. It took 3 days and 3 maintenance attempts to fix this. No official apology from the hotel was provided. - A "quiet room" was indeed far from the restaurant, but it appeared to be situated just above the parking lot and a pack of dogs barking at nights... This is understandable, but keep in mind that the beach party on weekends probably won't let you sleep either. In other words, it's not exactly quiet .
