Best pet friendly place

I love to travel a lot with my family and with my pet, its very difficult to find a place where were pets are allowed, and I had such a good experience's of the stay not only me and my family got a good hosting experience's but even my pet was treated the same. One of the best stay and hosting experiences ever had. I wish our stayed would have been more longer one, I would definitely come back again soon. Thanks Rohit our host to make our stay a comfortable and a memorable one.

The cottage has its own esthetics and history that directly connects to Dalai Lama his Holiness. It's a great place to stay in Whole Mcleoadganj. The owner is very nice and helpful person. Rooms are so big and valley and deep forest facing, greenery of lawns are cherry on the top. The place is for all the ages, if teens are there they are going to enjoy in a different way and if family or couples are there they are going to enjoy in a different way, there are lots of variety's of experiences that can be experienced with the owners, he can help you out for trekking or paragliding or pottery making , weaving and many more.

Breakfast was good as per the price, good location, nice valley and forest view, i would definitely come back gain, and would suggest to all who wants a cozy comfortable stay.

It was late mid night wanted to have a glass of bear but was unable to buy one because mid night.

It is a good property in a nice area away from the hustle and bustle.

I liked the behaviour of the host Rohit and the staff Rahul. The space outside the rooms to park the car and play was nice.

We booked in short notice by the time we reached at the property the rooms (part of the cottage) which we booked were offered to someone else and we had to stay in a very bad room. The bathrooms were smelly, the floors were dirty and the tap was not giving water properly.

i am a solo traveler, and travelled recently to Mcleoadganj and had a very good experience of the stay and the hospitality was too good, as a solo traveler i felt very safe the security was good, great facility's like home available, the host helped me out to arrange the trekking facility on a good budget prices with great facility on it and as well as the para gliding facility as well, host has many experiences to be experience by the guest and all are good, highly recommended, if you are a solo traveler do visit this site, much better than a hostel or a hotel.

My stay at Leela Heritage cottage was nothing short of magical. The friendly and accommodating staff made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The cottage itself was a treasure trove of history and cultural aspects, transporting me to a bygone era. Every corner was adorned with artifacts and artwork that told stories of the past. It was a truly immersive experience. The attention to detail and preservation of the heritage was commendable. I felt privileged to be surrounded by such rich history. Old-world charm and a wonderful place to retreat.

I visited this place in 1999, when there was a tea shop, and I was excited to see that it is still a guesthouse. I came for a break from Dharamkot and those hellish concrete steps theyve recently put everywhere. The owner met me upon arrival, a delightful young man, and showed me the rooms. Each is different and charmingly furnished. The Scottish man for whom McLeod Ganj is named, lived in on of the rooms! I had my pick, since I was the only guest at the time. I loved that theres shared kitchen and a communal fridge, so that I could prepare my own breakfast. There are beautiful wood chairs and tables with a view where one can sit and eat or read. Theres a restaurant nearby where you can order meals and have delivered. The place isnt known to most McLeod Ganj taxi drivers, and it can be a little hard to find, but the owner is easy to reach by WhatsApp and can direct the driver. I loved the old-world charm. Ill definitely stay again when in the area and need a restful and charming place to take a holiday from my holiday.

Had a great experience at Leela cottages, Dharamshala is a special place in India and staying at the Leela cottages makes it even more. The food, environment, service and accommodations were all top notch. The quality of service from the time of arrival is top class. Rooms are well provided with all toiletries and the housekeeping staff is highly efficient. Rooms are very spacious and very clean, truly a Heritage place to stay with all the comforts like your second home.

The ambience is excellent. With great view of the Kangra valley. Conveniently located, where both Dharamshala and Mcleodganj are easily accessible. In other words a very quite and serene place within a bustling town. Cheers to you.
