I stayed 4 nights on Young Manhattan houseboat and it was a very good experience. The boat location is perfect, close to the city but though very quiet, the boat itself is beautiful, confortable, very clean and well maintained, the hospitality and service are amazing. The owner and his family nearby are very receptive and helpful, and they provide good food. Prices are fair. Don't search any further !

Betta to stay for a day not more than that .

I like the way they treated us at the first and the welcoming, the interior, clean and tidy bathroom ( I mentioned while booking). I hope its betta to stay for a day not more than that.

I traveled about 3000km from bike to Dal lake especially to this houseboat. I didnt like one facility where the electric blanket was not. Working and we have to pay extra 400 per day for heating the room it has to be included because I saw while booking the room that heater is included but being there in that temperature that too -3 in December without the heater is not possible that has to be included and the blanket is also not working so it made us to pay 400 (told 600 and negotiated for 400) per day and our stay was for 2 days and that too it was not used all over the day it was used only for 2 hours maximum! We had one dinner at that house boat costed us 600rs which was shocking while paying. I had my lunch in LAZEEZ which should cost me more but costed less comparatively. Satisfied but not at the best. They also should know that ppl will come all over 3000 km within a budget!

The house boat is so pretty, clean and very comfortable. The location of the houseboat is awesome. Javed bhai and Irfan Bhai are amazing and very helpful. The rooms were very comfortable. The ride to the houseboat in the small boat is so pretttyyyy. Mornings here are so peaceful and just serene.

Stay on a houseboat: A must-do thing when you visit Kashmir!

This was our first experience staying in a house boat. It was great! The staff were friendly and always ready to help. The boat has a beautiful deck, a spacious living room and a dining area. Very neatly maintained. We booked two rooms and stayed for three days. It was comfortable and cozy. The rooms are well ventilated, at the same time, windows were covered with mesh to prevent insects entering in. The washrooms had hot and cold water all the time. The shikara that took us to and from the house boat was punctual. We even had a small tiff with the shikara guy, but Javeed Bhai, the owner sorted it out very well. Special thanks to the cook, who was always on his toes to tend to the guests.

We loved everything about the stay! However if there is one thing that I can say, the shikara guy who took us from land to the houseboat was a bit rude.

The thing that i loved is the warmth with which they welcomed us. The staff here is really good. This houseboat has maintained good cleanliness and hygiene. Moreover, the chef here is fantastic. I remember my family having awesome time while having meals here. Iqbaal bhaijaan was really helpful. Infact Javed bhaijaan helped us to plan a crucial part of our trip. Overall i liked it.
