Horrible beds and the entire hostel is under maintenance. Elevator is out of use a lot and the entire building looks super sketchy and doesnt feel safe. The hostel staff is nice though, they did explain there is nothing they can do about this but I think the building maintenance should be mentioned here on booking so people know what they are walking in to.

Good Hostel for a fair price

Amazing and lovely hostel. I stayed at the two bed dorm and had the luck to use it on my own. The living room is very lovely decorated and you can buy some postcards there as well. Good Wifi, friendly staff and nice location. For HongKong, quite big room.

The elevator sometimes don't work, then you'll need to walk up the stairs.

location is very good. it's near from Tsim Sha Tsui station. also there is supermarket( Wellcome Market) nearby so that we can get stuffs.

the building of hostels are repairing now. it is uncer construction. so early morning, there are some noises.

Very good

Its a pretty decent and clean hostel. I like the vibe of their lobby as well. Its very artsy.

There was no bidet in their toilet rooms. Also, I was hoping that they could let their guests check in early if theres a lot of vacant beds already. I was really tired from my flight and came at the property around 1:30 pm. Check in time is at 3 pm (which I think is quite late), so I just took a nap in their lobby area. When they finally checked me in (exactly 3 pm) I noticed there were 4 available beds in the bedroom. I understand everything should be ready first before they let people in but the time betweel check out time (11 am) until check in (3 pm) is I think enough for that. Last thing, it was hard for me to locate the property because it says 5th flr in the app but their reception is at 4th floor and the entrance is at the fire exit stairs. Not sure if it was always like this, but maybe they changed the reception area due to the elevator not working. Anyway, its a decent hostel for its price and its close to restaurants and victoria harbour, which I liked.

Good enough for the four days I was by myself in Hong Kong

The location and the price were what drew me to the Hop Inn. Also, the local art displayed there was very interesting.

I did not like the fact that I had to turn on the hot water heater half an hour before I wanted to take a shower

Incredible find in Hong Kong - very centrally located, clean, and comfortable

The location of this property was excellent! Extremely central, easy to get to, and was a convenient base to explore all of Hong Kong. The room was spacious, comfortable, safe, and the shared bathrooms were also clean and well-maintained.

The building itself was under some sort of renovation so looks a little weird from the outside but don't be put off by this. And as expected when it comes to staying in shared accommodation, the thought of sharing a room with strangers can be daunting and awkward. However, the 2 different roommates I had in this trip were very friendly and we got along really well. I would recommend giving it a try if you're on the fence about booking this property (also helps you save up some $ to spend on delicious HK food instead!)
