Superb

Very nice and clean room with big bathroom. Friendly staff. We booked for 2 nights but arrived very early morning after the first night (due to night train), and the staff was there to check us in. Breakfast included with several options served. Good location in a side street, so not too much traffic noise. Close to the cathedral and many restaurants.

Our room was on the second floor. There was no window but that was not a problem for a short stay. The only main problem was the noise until late in the evening from the other talking guests climbing up the stairs to above floors, and the metallic door being open to let them come into the hotel and making a very loud noise. I would recommend asking for a room on an upper floor.

Keep a good work

Really nice and friendly hostel. They helped us organize trip to Halong bay, Ninh Binh, Sapa, Hagiang with a good price. Breakfast delicious too.

The bed was so clean, big lockers, happy staff, love breakfast

The toilet door in my room 501 was so noisy when open and close, also the bed when me or people moving around was so loud.

Disappointing

Not a great experience there are better hostels for the money.

Staff friendly and helped organise tour to ha long. Breakfast included was ok. Bed reasonably comfortable

Smell in the room and bathroom was bad. Shower is a wet room with is a terrible idea for a shared bathroom. No common area. There are other much nicer hostels for the same money. Bed was creaky every time I moved I thought I would wake up the guy below. Bathroom door creak was very loud so it was hard for me to be considerate. Lots of small things but added up to be the worst hostel I stayed in during Thailand and Vietnam. Sorry to the staff for this review they seemed lovely.

Very good

Location was in the middle of everything and I thought it would be noisy outside but it was a non-issue. Something to keep in mind though is that the hostel is right by St.Anthonys church and Im assuming they ring the church bells every morning at 5am and will do mini-rings every 15 minutes

I guess I cant say I dislike this as this seems to be a trend in south East Asian countries that I havent encountered before but showers are detachable heads but theyre in the same room as the sink and toilet so the sink and toilet inevitably gets wet

Very good

Overall a good stay with value for money and good location.

We stayed just for 5 hrs at this place so we took the Dorm. The facility is clean and the staff is very helpful. They let us keep our bags there for a day while we went to Halong Bay. They even booked a Taxi for us to the airport at a very reasonable rate. The taxi ride was super. Breakfast served was good.

The Dorm Bathroom wasn't very clean. Dorm is located on higher floor and they dont have lift so be prepared to climb up. The bell boy helps with the luggage so that is very helpful. Thank You

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. Close to great shopping and food :)

Location was really great on a no car street so vehicle noises were low. The staff were very helpful and friendly :)

The street was busy with construction noise early in the morning, yelling, and other bumps and scraping noises. The external wall was like paper! The room itself was very dark with not much natural light.
