The staff were friendly and the location was great in Old French Quarter.

The door to the patio didn't lock properly. Therefore, the outside noise filters through the room. The bathroom sink was very dirty, and even after letting the staff know, it wasn't cleaned. No hand towels were provided.

Great location but could do with better rooms....

Location, Location and location. Housekeeping Staff was courteous, quick in their actions. Had some problem in drainage and kettle machine which was resolved promptly....

We had booked a triple room for 6 nights. A few days atleast a month and half before, I informed them that we may not stay for a night since we had booked a overnight tour. I tried rebooking and adjusting dates via booking.com but in vain. I informed that and I was mislead saying that they will guide us once we reach the hotel. But, during check in the receptionist flatly refused any help despite showing them the messages. This was start of my disappointment. Also, pictures of the room are false They do not have a window or rather a window overlooking a duct. Attaching photos . Also, my room on first floor was in front of their service / laundry room all in all ended up feeling suffocated....

Very nice staff, good location , all attractions in walkable distance.

Water in the sink was not going. After complaining, they fixed it. Since the building and hotel is old, I believe they do have plumbing issues.

A decent hotel with a great location

A decent hotel in a great location in the Old Quarter. A "suite with balcony" is an equivalent to the regular-sized hotel room and it was all we needed as a base to explore Hanoi. Most of the attractions are within walking distance. Staff is very nice, they've let us keep our bags there for 24+ hours as we had the Ha Long Bay trip booked the next day.

TV is very old and it barely works, balcony is very small and the water pressure in the bathroom was quite poor, but the room overall is comfortable for a 2-3 nights stay and the location is awesome. The staff is very friendly.

The toilet was clogged with toilet paper and the cleaner came and unclogged it but I think he washed the brush in the sink? The way he handled it was just super disgusting. I believe they are running a scam potentially. Dont book with them The laundry service was a little dodgy. It was around 50,000 vnd for a kilo and we had 4 kilos of laundry. We paid around 200,000 which seems to be the right amount, but right after we left, we got a message saying that they charged the wrong amount and we have to pay extra? The receptionist then attempted to guilt trip us by saying if we dont pay the outstanding amount then his worker has to pay for it and mentioned hes such a university student who gets paid very little. The whole experience was very bizarre, I mentioned I was okay with the bill as long as I get an email and I can transfer it a legitimate way and they refused.

Phone charging hard, bath shower combo dangerous and lift works occasionally.

Orienrtal style

Hotel Level 2 stay. Bathtub shower combination is dangerous to get in and out of,(big height difference) especially for elderly. No phone charge point beside your bed. Nowhere to hang anything in the bathroom. Bedside lamp base took up most of the bedside table. You have to be an octopus to get toilet paper when sitting on the toilet. Laundry service dodgy, clean clothes came back with plastic chop stick cover. Lift only worked occasionally, luckily we were on the 2nd floor. Motorbikes regularly blocked the entrance. Beds in Vietnam have no top sheet, using a supplied thick doona as a top sheet in warm weather made sleeping everynight problematic. So ask for a top sheet! Good points, police station opposite. Water pressure ok. Breakfast ok, normal milk for coffee was great!

Good choice

Clean, good central location, great staff speaking good English. The road where the window was facing wasn't too noisy at night.

The room wasn't very spacious (had one double bed and one single but there was only 2 of us, with 3 it would be difficult! ). The bathroom was a bit strange and reminded a bit of a plane bathroom, of course bigger and nicer but carved into the room like that, not like a real room (toilet/sink area and shower area were separate). Nothing too bad but a bit odd.
