As a family we liked the location towards the quieter end of Jomtien beach away from the many bars at the end towards pattaya. We were a family of 4 split over 2 rooms so really liked the rooms that were joined by an internal door. The views of the beach were wonderful, and was just a 2minute walk over the road.

The hotel is big and very busy however the elevators do not reflect this. They are very small for such a big hotel and there was often a long wait any time we needed to go up or down. We were on the 11th floor and when waiting for a lift to come down it would often be lit as "heavy" and not stop. All staff from room service to maintenance also use the customer lifts which means when they are there with their trolleys there is no space to get in. The rooms were big but the furniture is very dated and could do with an upgrade. The front desk staff didnt seem to have a great level of English and couldnt help us much when we were trying to get advice on taxis/grabs. The hotel taxi wanted a lot of money for a short trip. When we tried to use Grab there were no cars and we later discovered that Bolt seems to be much more widely used and way cheaper than taxis.

Disappointing

Don`t fall for the "star" information

I left 4 days early this place. To be honest i can say nothing good except the view from the room and that they had 2 pools but again not enough sunbeds for that whole 38 floors so still not good. And maybe the large bed in the room was okay although again we wanted a double bed but it was 2 large single beds together. Like i said, the only good thing was the view.

First of all, Booking should change the star information of this hotel. Even google states that its a 4 star hotel not a 5 star. But i wouldn`t even give 4 star. I think it is 2 or max 3 star hotel. The toilet was breaking down, a very bad smell was coming out of the toilet which made us not wanting to enter the room at all. Everything was so dusty and old. The cleaning ??? which cleaning...? They told us that they have given us an upgraded room when we checked in.. wow... i can not even imagine the other rooms if that was an upgraded room. The staff at the reception and also at the restaurant was not friendly at all. At the breakfast, i took 2 plates and both were still very dirty, oily but like red curry oily; under the plates were still red and yellow. So im not talking about a bit of dirt. When i showed them to one of the staff he just took the plates from my hand and left. No Sorry nothing..!!?? The AC was so dirty we didnt even wanna use it with all that dust. When we went to the reception for 4 days early check out, they didn`t even ask why or if something was wrong.. nothing... They just don`t care....

I loved everything about it, the breakfast, location and other facilities were extremely good.

Everything was great except for the fact that from time to time there was a bad smell coming from the washroom of our room 2007. I'm sure whoever will move to that particular room will face the same problem. Even after informing the staff about the problem it didn't get fixed.
