Great Irish cottage!

We had such a great time here. The owner was a great communicator and everything was as described. We had a toddler with us and she had so much fun. The bath was the perfect size for her! It was very handy having two separate bathrooms for two couples. The location was great beside the lake so we could swim and fish. We made great use of the garden and picnic bench too. Only a short drive to town for shopping and take away!

A relaxing getaway

Anthony the owner was lovely and very welcoming. 10/10 for communication. The location is beautiful and there was a lot of consideration given for our comfort. It was appreciated. As a break from city life it was a fantastic experience. The rooms were cosy and comfortable. We did sleep amazing.

I understood there was no WiFi but didn't expect my own signal to be so limited. As we were on three different providers it wasn't a provider issue. In fairness the owner does state no WiFi.

The location was lovely, very remote. Lots of wildlife. A nlce kitchen with everything you would want and need.

Tell people to sie the read sings to get to Headford in the bigger roads and then put in the postal code into Google Maps, it is easier to drive that way. It is also quicker.

Perfect for our needs and lovely location.

Thrilled it was so near the lake and lovely and quiet. Very well equipped. Very clear and helpful instructions left out. Private sunny outside space.

Not so thrilled with the 20 minute drive from Headford ending with single track lanes. Wouldnt like to stay here at high season! Parking very awkward. I could have done with a hot bath to ease sore muscles after a long hike but not possible in the curious half bath!

Very enjoyable stay, cottage very clean and good instructions regarding how heating, open fire worke

Very quiet area of Galway. House was very clean and good clear instructions on arrival of how fire, heating worked etc. perfectly good facilities and a good base to visit Galway City which was buzzing. plenty of room in garden for BBQ.

location of cottage was remote but we knew that when looked on Google. Google sometimes didn't work as we had very heavy showers

House is very pleasant and the location is serene. Few islands near by, but if you have your own kayak, you could visit that place.

Network is very bad at the area, if you are in a urgent call ,you have to go to headford. They should provide wifi for the customers. Very unsteady bathtub, I am almost died fell from that because of thesmall step which is inside the tub. Lots of mosquitos, please carry some cream accordingly.
