Perfect base for visiting Ubud area.

We wanted a hotel with superb pool and views, where we could chill after riding all day around Ubud area and that's exactly what we've got. We can appreciate a great pool and this one was one of the best one we've ever been to, with excellent staff attending not-overpriced pool snack bar. In November pool was just the right temperature for a swim. We loved our room with fishtail wooden floor and all the details in it. Selection of sweets on breakfast and dinner was great and we tried almost everything. Fried bacon for breakfast was always available.

Private pool was a bit too cold (November) and we did not get to use it much. Selection of alcoholic long drinks at the pool could be better.

Pool superb, service and location over expectations, breakfast excellent as well. Activities like Yoga, bikes etc..all well organized and professionally led.

Best stay in Bali!

Really attentive staff. Super condition of rooms and all other areas. Beautiful views from both rooms and restaurant.

Only notable point is that since the hotel is on a hill side theres a lot of steps, so not suitable for prams or wheelchairs. Not an issue for us though!

A very enjoyable time

This is a high end resort in a quiet valley outside Ubud. Just about everything about the resort was excellent. This includes room, restaurants, pool and especially the staff! The room (deluxe suite) is one of the best I have ever stayed in. We had a most enjoyable evening in their bar, the Blind Pig. For most of the time we were the only customers, but the performer and bar staff were both wonderful. We had fun joining in the performance.

I was traveling with Indonesian family. It would have been nice to have Indonesian sauces presented with breakfast, though when I asked for sambal it was happily provided and very tasty!

Wonderful stay. Exceed our expectations.

Property situated in a beautiful surrounding area, lots of greenery, great atmosphere. Service is impeccable. We had the best check-in experience ever, comfortably sitting on a couch, everything got explained gently and in details. Staff is extremely helpful, welcoming, highly professional. They never disappointed. We had a great impression of the management. We are very satisfied with our stay.

Rooms may look a bit dated here and there but they are also well kept.
