AYA Boutique Hotel Pattaya - SHA Plus

- Hotel was not clean. I have booked a big room and checked in to my room quite late. The lights in the room were not enough to lit the room and it was not clean. The bed, sheets, bathroom, bathtub (there was blood and other gross looking things in it), sink, almost everything was dirty and definitely not clean. - When I woke up in the morning, I realized the room was facing a wall! Although it was not mentioned when I was booking the room, quite a number of rooms are facing the next building which is just 2M or so away. Hence there was no direct sunlight in my room. The lights were not enough to lit the room, so it felt like dawn even around noon. Pls see the photo for the max light you will have during the peak of the sun. When I was leaving the room, I asked the reception to change the room since it was dark even around noon and more importantly not clean. I showed them the videos I took and they said it is considered deep cleaning and they do not do it. They changed my room but I ended up paying for a bigger room and staying in a much smaller room which is cheaper as you would expect. - There are two restaurants/bars under the hotel and one right across it. See the photos of outside for reference. Multiple girls are working in all and they are partying with customers with a very high music and noise until 2am, 3am every night. So, FYI in case thats a concern. - I did not see other solo female travelers during my long stay. I also saw only two couples. The rest were solo or groups of men. At random times during the day, I was seeing them coming or getting out of the hotel with girls. FYI in case thats a criteria for you.
