Very good

The room was very nice and clean, the bathroom was also in a really good shape. The people at the hotel were there 24/7 and were really helpful. The hotel is in a good location, you can walk to most interesting places of Hanoi.

While the location itself was good, my room was facing the main road, which is really, really loud because of crazy traffic. For some reason, It did not affect my sleep, but maybe you should bring earplugs.

Run down hotel. Misleading advertising.

Male staff member was very helpful in taking us to the train station and making sure we got on board.

The property is not as advertised and not as presented in the marketing photos. The hotel is old, run down and in major need of refurbishment and modernisation. Bathrooms were in poor condition with water leaking and showers were dysfunctional. We were asked to move rooms and the same problems were present in each. The rooms just felt grubby in general. This place is fine for a night or two to sleep if you dont want a high standard or want a change from a backpackers hostel but the accommodation is 2 star at best. Good 3-4 star hotels in modern condition can be found nearby for a similar price. We regretted booking but were sucked in by the positive reviews and misleading photos. We couldnt understand how the reviews were so high, but were pushed under the supervision of staff to leave a 10/10 review when checking out. This explained the high scoring reviews and was an awkward position to be put in. Staff were also quite pushy about booking us on a tour to Halong Bay. The staff were very pleasant and helpful in other ways but I regret to say that this hotel is a tourist trap. If you have reasonable standards for accommodation, look elsewhere.

Construction site operating nearby!

Rooms are as fancy as portrayed in the photos.

The construction site nearby is still operating. They worked one night-shift (which I was told only happens for specific building tasks), and I was able to sleep anyway. The other days they worked ~7:00 to 21:00. So if you're an early bird, this will work for you. It's not particularly loud, but of course one notices at 'quiet' times. Staff was fair and front-up told me what to expect. On the other hand side, staff was a intrusively urging to buy tours etc. and to give the place a 10 point rating, which it is not fit for.

The rooms have moisture, odor, and cause feelings of claustrophobia.

The staff was genuinely helpful, and the rooms were decently clean.

Th aging infrastructure and dampness, especially in windowless rooms, affected our stay. Although they promptly accommodated our room change, the overall condition might not make it an ideal place to stay.

the room we booked was not available when we arrived and we noticed other guests being in a similar situation so that was uncomfortable for all. the room we were assigned did not have a window and felt a little like a cave, we were given the opportunity to see another room the following morning in case we would like to extend our stay but by that point our first impression had been too negative for us to enjoy staying any longer.
