I would like to thank Mr. Piyush for providing a descent itinerary, catered to my requests. We were also given an amazing travel guide, a local Mr. Bhuvan, who enthusiastically travelled with us as ou (Read More)r driver also. However, I would like to inform that our first point of contact Mr. Ram Pandey, who was provided to us at Nepal GAVE US FALSE INFORMATION ABOUT THE INR TO NEPALI CURRENCY CONVERSION CHARGES WHICH LED TO HIGH AMOUNT OF INCONVENIENCE TO US WHILE PURCHASING CERTAIN SOUVENIRS, ARTIFACTS OR EVEN BASIC NECESSITIES LIKE SNACKS OR LUNCH. WE TRIED TO CONTACT HIM TO RECTIFY OUR ISSUE BUT TO OUR DISMAY, HE JUST IGNORED US, WHICH WAS FRANKLY LITTLE ALARMING AND INCONVENIENT IN A FOREIGN LAND. MY ADVICE TO ALL THOSE READING THIS REVIEW IS TO FIND OUT WHAT EXACTLY THE SELLERS ACCEPT THERE FOR FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS AND THEN ONLY GET YOUR CURRENCY CONVERTED TO THE LOCAL CURRENCY. EVEN THE AIRPORT HERE DOES NOT CONVERT INR CURRENCY, HENCE PLEASE ALSO DO YOUR RESEARCH RATHER THAN BLINDLY TRUSTING ANYBODY IN THESE MATTERS. THE HOTEL STAYS ESPECIALLY AT LUMBINI, HAD A HOPELESS RECEPTION, FOOD WAS NOT UPTO THE MARK, NO PROPER HOT WATER & MOST IMPORTANTLY IT WAS QUITE FAR FROM THE MAIN ATTRACTION OF LUMBINI, FOLLOWED BY OUR HOTEL STAY AT KATHMANDU WHICH HAD IMPROPER VENTILATED ROOMS, NO FANS, JUST ACs..etc. OUR HOTEL STAY AT CHITWAN HOWEVER WAS FANTASTIC, WITH AMAZING AMBIENCE, DELICIOUS FOOD AND A POLITE RECEPTION AREA.. Just because of the inconveniences stated above I have given just 3 stars or else it was a 5 for sure. WOULD LIKE TO MENTION AGAIN TO PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BY ASKING ALL THE LOCALS WHAT CHARHES THEY ACCEPT FOR INR TO NEPALI CURRENCY CONVERSIONS, WHETHER THEY ACCEPT INR CURRENCY OR NOT, ETC AMD THEN ONLY TALE A DECISION IN GETTINGYOIR MONEY CONVERTED OR ELSE, JUST LIKE US YOU WILL FACE FINANCIAL LOSS WITH NO CHANCES OF RECOVERY….!
