I’m from Mauritius.
I’ve booked Air tickets and hotels for International travel in India last year before the breakout of the pandemic and lockdowns. Paid 50K for the tickets.
As the flights were suspended/cancelled ask (Read More)ed for refund which apparently has been given by the Airline to the agency many months back.
But Potter Travels is avoiding my calls and not refunding the amount back to me.
Do not deal with this agency - not trustworthy.

Manali-Shimla Tour
Worst tour experience ever ,worst hotels where provided and cab driver also.The response of Ms Ritu was ridiculous and she just needs money and doesn’t care about the promises made and comfort of the (Read More) client .Thanks to her manger who saved us from a big disaster .
Bad experience
Trip to Ladakh
It was my first experience when I asked tour and travels to plan my itenary and when I start my journey and reached at leh hotel on first day then I realised that it was my wrong decision, because as (Read More)per literary hotel will be three star of category but they are not even for one star and literary handeler Mrs Ritu response was also not good and that was also not in proper manner. Thank to Mr. Manav who understood my problem and shifted to me in new hotel and thanks also to my cabbie Mr Gurmet who guided us at every location and made out tour great.

Trip to Jammu and Kashmir
Hi,
We recently completed our memorable trip to Srinagar. It was a 8 days trip, arranged by Potter Travels Delhi. Sheetal, was the travel manager who designed the full trip based on our requirement (Read More). She not only customized to our need but made sure, it covers almost all the important places to see in Srinagar. The hotel / boathouse + the guide in Srinagar are best and outstanding. Right from our arrival in Delhi till we takeoff.... she was in touch and ensured all are going fine as planed and also suggested for few places to cover during our trip. It was a really very memorable trip, as we want to see / enjoy the snow in Srinagar, which we did enjoy. It was starting to snow in Gulmarg / Pahalgem, really very nice to see and kids enjoyed a lot. The guide in Srinagar Mr Javid, was very kind and friendly. He use to explain every place we are going to see for today and also come with us to speak to locals and get us the best. Overall... it was a very nice and wonderfull trip crafted by Potter Travels Pvt Ltd Delhi - and all credit to Sheetal.

Trip of Royal Rajasthan (Mixed Feelings)
Trip to Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer
The facilitation by Potter prior to trip was very good. Our disappointment was with the Pickup on arrival for the trip and at the time of final drop as the vehicle and timing was not to our satisfacti (Read More)on, and did not leave a good impression. The trip of Rajasthan by the diver/guides to Jaipur, Udaipur,Jodhpur was great and enjoyable. The hotel Arrangements in Jaipur (Sarovar) , Jodhpur (Taj Hari Mahal & Radisson) was very good but Udaipur stay at Fern Residency was a let down in all aspects. Overall I will still rate the experience good, as Ritu was helpful and responsive despite issues and we left with good memories of Royal Rajasthan.

The whole Travel Package was well managed and very comfortable. I am really glad that I took the package from Potter Travels. The hotels in Delhi and Agra were very nice, food was amazing, and the peo (Read More)ple there were very helpful. The drivers arranged for the travel were very friendly and warm.
One of my serious concern is over the Hotel in Kashmir. Travel in Kashmir was all good besides the Hotel we stayed in. Since the major part of our travel was based in Kashmir (4 nights/5 days), we expected better hotel there as well. The rooms there were warm and cozy and the hotel staffs were also friendly, but considering the weather in Kashmir, there was no hot water (not even for drinking) or in the Bathroom. Food was not upto the expectation. (I cannot rate it as excellent because of the hotel in Kashmir)
I would suggest Potter Travels to be careful about the accommodation in Kashmir for other travelers. Other than that, it was amazing travel in India.

5. Timely response and constant communication from Ritu
Lowlights
1. Too many places compressed on certain days but the opening hours and our schedule doesnt match.
2. Guides are focused on business rather than allowing us space to enjoy what we want to see.

Well Arranged Trip
Trip to Srinagar, Sonamarg, Gulmarg, Kargil, Ladakh
Me and my Husband had booked a road trip from Srinagar to Leh-Ladakh via Travel Potter for the first week of october 2018.
Ritu (our tour manager) offered us really good offers that motivated us to c (Read More)hoose travel potter over other travel websites.
Upon reaching Srinagar, the trip went as per the itinerary provided to us.
The hotel suggested by Ritu were good and met our expectations as they provided top class facilities.
There were some minor issues with local drivers at times but then Ritu was readily available to get them resolved quickly .
I would definitely suggest everyone who are travelling for the first time to give travelPotter a try, as they would definitely help to make your journey a lifetime experience.

The trip was well organised
Trip to Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Rishikesh, Mumbai
Ritu from Travel Potter did an excellent job, I have no hesitation in referring Ritu of Travel Potter’s to any future traveller to India. We plan to visit next year, this time do the South of India. (Read More) I will be contacting Ritu next year around the same time to plan our next holiday.
Some advice for future travels.
1. Remove Tavisha Hotel, Delhi from any future travels for reasons listed below :
a. Rooms are filthy
b. Kettles / showers did not work.
c. Bed linen not changed from previous guests – we had to request a change in bed linen.
d. This hotel cannot be graded as it is shocking, to say the least
e. Food substandard
2. Internal Flights – bag weights
a. Domestic flights limits check in luggage to 15 kgs, while international travellers , like us, are allowed 40kgs. One has to pay for the additional weight. Make future travellers aware of this.
3. If possible, we would like a refund for days stayed at Tavisha Hotel, unfortunately we spent most of our time at the hotel. This hotel damned the experience a bit ~
Overall the trip was well organised, most enjoyable. The allocated drivers, especially Sanjay, were excellent.
Ritu, of Potter Travels – you did a great job – well done. You well be nominated as the preferred local travel agent , for people that I know, that would be travelling to India.

Bad Experience

We a had good experience with Potter 2018 for our Leh trip hence selected them for this year holidays to Meghalaya, however it was proved to be wrong as we checked into hotel and realised it is not as (Read More) per the pictures shown. Even the room was so congested and couldn't afford an extra bed which was arranged by Potter! We called Shyam from Potter and the nothing he could do to neither he was interested. He had options to find us good place even we told him we can pay. But he never showed any courtesy neither called back to ask... i don't recommend to use such a travel service provider who refuse to provide good customer service which is key part of their service. I don't recommend this company for any travel requirements.

I was in India (Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, Kashmir) for 9 days, Overall I am happy with the services provide. The driver in Delhi was a pleasant person. The tour guide in Taj Mahal was nice too. However I m (Read More)issed d oldest market in Delhi as in d schedule. The driver refused to go ther.
In Kashmir everything went well except Triden Hotel and d driver who was a bit rushing.Anyway he was a great guy. . Many guest complains abut d hotel from rooms, breakfast and internet. The hotel is poorly managed. However, I have to thank Ritu for checking on us almost every day. Planning to travel to India again stil with Miss Ritu.Thanks

Well organised, professional and knowledgeable guides

We used Travel Potter for our Jaipur guide, a well spoken , informative and knowledgeable guide who made our trip to Amber Fort something I will never forget. Plan for pick up at you Jaipur hotel arou (Read More)nd 8am, our guide was booked night before and arrived on time, it’s a 15 min ride to the Fort from central Jaipur and we got to see the Pink Palace Walls, Hawah Mahal (which you cannot go inside so plan only 10-15 mins here) of Jaipur. At the fort the guide arranges for jeeps to take you up to the fort as larger vehicles cannot go up. He took us around Fort, ensured we got rest and water breaks and gave a good account of the history and best places to take pictures. On way back the guide took us to a Gem Factory which was nice to see the way the gems are jewellery are made, but beware of the hard sell at the end which can take an hour or so. My advice is to state up front if you are interested in seeing the Gems or buying or not. I can fully recommend Potter Travel Guides for Jaipur.
