What's Good: Nothing actually

Very worst service by Overseas travel agency
We had a very bad experience by booking this agency. No proper service provided by them. They were very rude. The driver did not take us to few locations which were mentioned in the itenary. The boat (Read More)house service was also not good. They are focused only on money and not is servicing the people. The driver has used very bad languages in the road and got cought by the cops. Even our family members were taken to the police station because of him. The driver use to take few members in the cab and he use to say he is the owner of the cab. Driving is very worst and money minded. Hotel service is also bad. Dont take any trip using this agency.

Very bad experience, they won't deliver what they promise, I even contacted the owner Junaid but no response from his site. They create the WhatsApp group and will ask you to share your problem in the (Read More) group but you will not get any response, they will do big promises even they will swear on almighty when I was about to book the package but after receiving the payment they will not response. It is better to book hotel and cab on your own instead of relying on these people....my trip got ruined because of them.....NOT RECOMMENDED.....STAY AWAY FROM THESE FAKE PEOPLE.

Had booked kashmir tour package in Feb'23 for travelling April'23 for couple package. We had paid 3000 rs as advance money booking.
During first week of March'23 our close family member expired so i (Read More)informed them pls cancel this coming tour as we wont be able to travel due sudden demise of close one. They said they will not refund money they give us voucher for next year. I said as per cancellation policy you have cut 25 % and balance 75 % you have refund back to us , they refused. Now recently on 29 th March 2023 my husband mother passed away just 2 back i shared the death certificate to them now atleast you return back our balance money but they such cruel heartless people neither they attending my call nor they are replying my message .
PLS DO NOT NOT CONTACT SUCH HEARTLESS TOUR AGENT AND KEEP OUR MONEY AND DO NOT RESPONSE US ON HUMANITY GROUND.
Pathetic Travel Agency of Srinagar
One of the worst travel consultant of Srinagar.
They are selling the packages with false commitment.
They are act like a goon or Srinagar, they are charging for 3 Star property but the propertie (Read More)s are not even 2 Star. They will tell you to provide good category cab like Etios, Innova, Ertiga but actually they are providing Tavera & Xylo.
When you start complaining about the services, they will start behaving like Road Side Goon.
Junaid Azad is a Owner of @Overseas Holidays and he is the one who always misbehaving with the guest when any of the guest started complaining.
I received a call from Junaid Azad in the night at 1:00 AM and that call was regarding for pending payment of Rs. 2000 only, he was shouting badly on me and threatened for forced checkout from the hotel.
I would suggest to all of you, please please please don't take any package from this Person Junaid Azad's company @Overseas Holidays.

The review is quite long, if you are visiting Kashmir, it will be really helpful I believe as I have mentioned the things which I have faced(You can avoid).
Tip in advance:- Research on youtube vlogs about the places you visit and things that are there to be covered. What is needed? Otherwise, everyone will fool you. They spare no one. Check the places in advance, Sonmarg, Gulmarg, Srinagar, Pahalgam, etc. Activities, clothes needed, guide(not required during the entire trip).
About Overseas:- Initially they will follow up with you unless you book the package, once you are in Kashmir, No one will coordinate you apart from the driver. They will send you a message to pay the remaining amount else they will stop their services.
The hotel room was small for two-person. Honeymoon inclusion bed decoration was also too bad(5 10 rose petals and that's all).
They didn't cover the places that were promised in the package ex: Shankaracharya temple, Shalimar garden, Munawar Abad local handicraft shops, Awantipura ruins, Baisaran.
The driver was friendly but didn't prevent overcharging and misguiding by different people at different places starting from Shikara ride, Sonmarg cab, Pahalgam cab. I felt like he was misguiding me at times. Don't believe and rely entirely on the cab driver. I would rate 2.5 out of 5 for Overseas.
About the Trip:- Kashmir said to be heaven on earth is quite true to an extent but the people out there make it very hard for you to stay in heaven. I don't think there is anything apart from snow on mountains. A few things I liked were the Shikara ride in dal lake, Gandola in Gulmarg, Betaab valley in Pahalgam, and houseboat stay in Nigeen lake, the rest else I felt was a complete waste of money. Everyone will try to scam you in one or the other way. Everything is too expensive Rides, Maggie, Tea anything you name it, you will find 50+-10 Rs extra from normal costs.
People in the tourism business here are very sharp:- They have divided a single destination into two parts, one will be covered by your taxi driver and for another part, you need to either hire a pony or a cab from the union. Example:- Sonmarg, Gulmarg, Pahalgam:- You will reach a point and from there, your driver will insist you to hire a cab. The charge depends on your bargaining skills.
Sonmarg :- We checked out early in the morning around 9:30 AM and reached the union cab point in ~1hr. There starts the fooling business. They will ask you to book the cab and the charge will be based upon the POINTS they cover. POINTS they will mention:- Sonmarg Glacier Point, Last village of Kashmir, Zero Bridge, Fish point, Tiger hill.
The only thing which is visitable is Sonmarg's main point(Glacier point). Rest else is there to increase the cost based on POINTS and nothing else. You will not find anything valuable there. My driver already knew all this and still convinced me to cover all the points. Don't give more than 2000 for anything(they will misguide you by saying they will only cover one point, don't believe them go to Sonmarg directly).
They will include jackets and snow boots as well in this which will cost RS. 300(jacket+boots). Trust me, if you layer up with thermals, sweaters, a nice jacket, and some decent hiking shoes(Decathlon, Bacca Bucci, Goldstar) you don't need to take the jackets and boots from them. They will try to fool you by saying the shoes will get wet and it will slip but everything is wrong. The guide or the union cab driver himself wears sports shoes and tells everyone to wear snow boots. Ridiculous.
Personal opinion:- Sonmarg doesn't have anything that can be labeled as a traveling place. Plan your trip WITHOUT Sonmarg. Complete waste.
Gulmarg:- Next day to Gulmarg. Reached union cab point around 11:00 AM. Again you need to hire

Trip in August 2021-I am writing after much follow up with entire team of overseas holidays agency. They are unprofessional, to save on taxes, they do not provide bills. Never ever take their services (Read More)!! After taking money they don't respond or give full services which they promise. MakeMyTrip and other agencies are much professional. Mr. Junaid (owner) pls learn from them
1. During the trip, without giving me a prior notice, I received a msg from their manager Kisan that if I don't pay full amount by next day 10 am, they will stop services. While this was threatening msg and I haven't seen any travel agency do that, overseas is one such company and I paid whole amount without them reminding me.
2. During the trip I had booked cab for full day, whereas their driver refused to take me and my parents any where other than few places while had booked for full day,and after much fight I was given another driver. All customers if they ever take their services pls make sure everything is in written.
3. Last day of the trip even though I paid for full day to have cab for my family, I just asked them to provide cab for airport drop, their driver didn't turn up, their owner mr Junaid and manager Kisan kept lying that it will come in next 2 mins and we were all standing with our luggage for 45 mins.. after some point their manager kisan stopped picking my calls, my hotel manager finally arranged a cab at the last minute
4. While after my trip ended, I have been continuously asking for bill which they are not providing, I have no idea if this is a fake travel agency as they keep giving fake promises. Mr. Junaid their owner and Mr kisan their manager have no ethics, pls everyone be aware and do not book their services.

Worst travel agency. Prior to the trip they call you each and every second for confirmation of the trip, had made the payment and was waiting for the trip but in my case due to unavoidable reason I ha (Read More)d to postponed the plan. They said they will refund/or make a credit note. But its almost a month I havr to make them call every time and they cut my call down. This is their response.
And today one of their representative threatened me saying "By posting review nothing will work and if u want money then delete the review(which I posted in tripadvisor)This is what Overseas holidays is all about. Horrrrrrrrrible. Simply horrible.

PATHETIC+HORRIBLE - A BIG NO
We had a pathetic experience with OVERSEAS HOLIDAYS. Please do not consult the if you really dont want to have bad time.
It was our first Anniversary trip and they spoiled it so nicely.Fist of all th (Read More)ey will commit infinity and they will do 1-2 out of it. the first hotel they gave - we changed 3 rooms, No wifi, No Hot water and No bed heater in working condition.After requesting they increase 2000 rs and changed our hotel where even if you go before time, the food will be over. 8.45 am - Breakfast got over. They have showed us wonderful itn planned and for one whole day there was nothng planned for us. We spent whole day from 1 noon onwards in hotel doing nothing and just roaming in hotel. ... Again no hot water, and so many restrictions that cant be tolerated.
Finally on our anniversary they gave us a room in 3rd class boat where , we were unable to lock the door and even washrum. All the bed sheets were stained red and orange and small insects were rolling in the blanket. Next day morning we had bed bugs bites on our body parts. These worms insects were in our cloths as well till next morning.
Additionally, The Driver will do as he wants just like you are his slave. he stopped car for several reasons in between and when we ask him to stop car for taking pictures he denied. Every day he use to rush to drop us and go back and saying ...there is no other places to visit. He was forcing us to do all those things where he has his commission fixed. We had food/snacks/tea only at those place where he wanted. He didn't allow us to go anywhere else.
Please buy ur own postpaid sim, we have been told all hotels have wifi and there we have to buy a sim in black which cost us extra 2000 rs. We have lost a lot because of their misguidance. And this was the same experience with another stranger whom we met their in the hotel. I am here to share all the proofs if required. I have no personal interest but i wish other should get some benefit and move accordingly.
We had terrible experience with them, i hope other should learn and save their hard earn money.

We had a trip with overseas holidays for Kashmir in the month of feb. We are travelling in a group of 40 persons. Overseas management managed our tour of 6 nights and 7 days. Got my package from overseas holidays for 10 days from Jammu , Srinagar amarnath ji
I have a very horrified and terbulant exprience from these guys . Throughout the joinery I was thinking to reach sa (Read More)fely back to me home.
These guys has to pick us up from Jammu airport to katra for darshan. On our arrival we find no one their on airport to pick us. When I tried to contact then my call was linked to Mr Junaid, who after many days I came to know is the proprietor, I was told on mobile that taxi will not come their, either I walk or do some other taxi to reach 3 awaykm from airport. Somehow we manage but their his guy said that he will not take us and I have to reach katra by our sources, which we did. Mr Junaid language was very horrifying and disgusting and he also threatened to cancel the trip.
From katra to Srinagar they provided his taxi , the driver Mr Adil, was very disturbing, he for the whole time was talking on mobile on the highways and driving rashly, inspire of repited request he didn't switched off his mobile neither tied his seat belt.
On the way to phalegam they changed the driver but he was not having his car papers and driving license. Police stopped us on two occasion for this, police threatened to seize the car and was also ferious on us for not checking the papers, after much persuasion they let the car go.
The condition of hotel they provided in Srinagar was very bad, stinking and on the narrow road, the full road was stinking like anything.
These people are very good and soft spoken till you are a client for then. During the trip they also changed my itinerary five times and blaming us, their driver should know everything
The lady sitting in their office is very soft spoken and has got full training how to entrap or sale their packages

Kashmir is truly a paradise, the whole trip was safe and enjoyable in the Month of April. Mr. Junaid from Overseas Holidays is very polite, responsive, client focused and co-ordinated the trip very sm (Read More)oothly & sweetly. Agent Afreen gave excellent support throughout the trip by taking regular feedback and one more agent Meherin also. The hotels provided were clean, hygienic comfortable and the food was good. Our Cab Driver Amir had a good deal of ideas to share with us and to guide us for the best outcome through the season. Overseas holidays made the journeys beautiful. It was a memorable trip with lots of fun and good memories.

Booked a Kashmir Holiday with Overseas Holidays for April. Experience with overseas holiday was overall good.
Before trip - executive Mehreen was very proactive in designing and changing itinerary (Read More)as per requirement. She was very helpful with any query as well. Vouchers and details like driver number were promptly shared before trip.
During Trip - Driver Bilal was well informed and took us to all places without any complaints or grumbling.He also advised on what to do at each place and what not to do. So was helpful
When I faced a few issues Mr Junaid was just a phone call away and ready to help out to sort the same.
Post trip - Mr Junaid again very helpful with queries regarding vouchers and helping out with copies as required.

Cancellation
I booked my Kashmir trip for Dec 2018 thru Overseas Holidays using Travel Triangle App. Once they finalized the quote and package for me, Mehreen- Sales executive suggested I pay my 50K advance direct (Read More)ly in Overseas account and not thru Travel Triangle App. I paid the same and they issued my hotel vouchers. Unfortunately, I had to request for cancellation of my trip to Kashmir 25 days prior to travel date.
Since 23rd Nov 2018, I am chasing Overseas team to initiate my refund of cancellation, Mr Junaid - the owner stopped responding to my calls and after 7 days, he calls back saying 9000 will be refunded of the total amount as hotels are not agreeing for full refund. I had requested for full refund as I had 2 deaths in my family between 22nd to 26th Nov 2018 and for such serious reasons, any hotel would consider 100% refund. But Junaid and his team denied that as well. All my airlines have also agreed to refund full amount on presenting the death certificate proof but Mr Junaid denies any such possibility. Eventually, I agreed to take the refund on Rs 9040 only as I was helpless, but these guys have stopped picking my calls and do not reply to messages and they have still not refunded my amount.
Travel Triangle is not providing any additional resolution. In such grave situation on personal end, I am chasing these people and still no response and courtesy to help for my own money.

Worst experience v HD at Kashmir. Cz of this package xtrmly spoiled our trip happiness and gt feared cz of their rude behavior . Guys if u want to enjoy ur trip pls don't go with this package overseas (Read More) holidays.. just go for another traveller. Many of the things given in iternay v didn't get and wen v ask about this driver get angry .and wen v ask to our agent she not even answer . The location of the Hotel comes within the very disturbed area.The driver of the Taxi who received at Airport asked us how this hotel booked which is very disturbed area and do not leave the hotel aft (Read More)er 6 pm.The house boat booked was Crown Delux but stayed in Harmony which was inferior and not disclosed till we shifted in the houseboat.The sikara ride was arranged by us whereas the same was included in the tour arrangement voucher.
