What's Not Good: Our much-anticipated Andaman trip with Jeeto Vacations turned into a series of disappointments due to their false promises, poor pl (Read More)anning, and complete disregard for customer satisfaction.
1. Hotel Booking Lies:
We booked the trip on 4th September with a clear request for Sea Shells Hotel, which was confirmed by their sales executive, Manish. However, on 26th September, we were informed the hotel was unavailable. Instead of resolving the issue, they suggested hotels costing 4-5k per night, which were far below our standards and package budget.
2. Refusal to Split Upgrade Costs:
We requested an upgrade to a Lagoon Room at Sea Shells and offered to share the cost 50-50 since the fault was theirs. They quoted a suspiciously inflated price of 16k per night, making us feel like they were trying to shift their mistake entirely onto us.
3. Ignored Cancellation Request:
Frustrated with their lack of resolution, we found a better deal with the required hotels on MakeMyTrip and shared proof in their WhatsApp group. Shockingly, no one acknowledged our request to cancel the trip.
4. Refund and Self-Booking:
After much back-and-forth, we managed to get a refund for two days. We rebooked the same hotel via Agoda at just a 2k/day premium, highlighting Jeeto Vacations' inability to deliver competitive prices.
5. Random Payment Demands:
Initially, we were told to pay 10k upfront, with the balance due 10 days before the trip. Yet, they started demanding payments randomly during the planning stage, showing poor coordination.
6. Flight Ticket Hassle:
Despite flight bookings being handled by us, they repeatedly asked for full ticket details without explaining why. We offered to share relevant information, but they kept pushing, ignoring our privacy concerns.
7. Incompetent Billing:
Their payment process was riddled with overcharges, as their executives struggled with basic calculations. This inefficiency felt like a deliberate attempt to overcharge.
8. Poor Itinerary Management:
We booked the most expensive room at Sinclair's Bay View, yet promised early check-in was not arranged. After a sleepless overnight journey, we were left waiting at reception for over an hour. Furthermore, they booked an 8:30 am ferry, forcing an unnecessarily early check-out, even though the hotel’s policy was 10 am.
9. Subcontracting Mess:
We later learned that Jeeto Vacations had hired a third-party vendor, who in turn hired another local vendor. This multi-layered setup left us paying more while receiving poor service.
10. No Customer Support or Escalation Matrix:
Despite multiple requests, they refused to share top management's contact details. Emails to seniors were ignored, leaving us no way to escalate issues.
Conclusion: Jeeto Vacations' lack of professionalism, false commitments, and inefficiency ruined our trip. Their focus was on profiteering rather than delivering a quality experience. If you value your time and money, stay far away from Jeeto Vacations!
