My trip with Grue Kashmir was good . Ghousiya mam was very helpful and fr start till end was very helpful and she deserves a 5/5 for the accomodations and being supportive . 3/5 rating is only cz the (Read More)driver arranged was absolutely unprofessional. He arrived late by an hour due to which we missed enjoying the beauty of Pahalgam . He was rude , absolutely not ready to listen to us , always brought his friend or fam along with him which made us very uncomfortable . Insisting on going early even when there was absolutely no need of it just cz we hire the pony /taxi which provided him commission . He on purpose delays the visit to location in the pretext of meeting his friends somewhere and then insists us to come early cz it’s alrdy late ? . The amount of tension he gave is something I’ll never forget . The list can go on and on … well apart from the experience with the cab driver , every other arrangement from food to stay was well taken care of .
Terrible Experience with Grue Kashmir Travel Agency - Avoid at All Costs!
I recently booked a 5 Days 4 Nights package with Grue Kashmir, and it turned out to be a complete nightmare. Initially, the (Read More)ir sales agent Rimsha assured me of a 3-night stay at Hotel Mehtab Palace and a 1-night stay in a deluxe houseboat at Dal Lake. Upon arrival, their cab picked us up from the airport, but when we reached the hotel, they denied our check-in because there was no booking for us.
After a frustrating discussion with Rimsha, I was connected with someone named Mr. Syed, who convinced me to stay at a different property, Hotel Olive Grove Inn. Begrudgingly, I agreed and checked in. However, the very next morning, the hotel manager asked us to check out because they only had a booking for one night, despite Rimsha's confirmation for three nights. The manager even showed me a message confirming only one night. Shocked and distressed, I contacted Rimsha again, but after numerous calls and heated discussions, we were forced to check out and head to Gulmarg with all our luggage in tow.
Upon returning from Gulmarg, completely unaware of where we would stay for the next two nights, Rimsha offered us accommodation at Hotel Palazzo Zafferano. This hotel was in terrible condition – the rooms were extremely smelly, and the property was very old. Despite my protests, they insisted we stay there. At my wit's end, and with no other options, I decided to involve the police, especially since I was traveling with my two kids and my mother, who is a heart patient. The constant moving and lack of proper arrangements were not only inconvenient but also dangerous for her health.
To make matters worse, the deluxe houseboat was a far cry from what was promised. It had six rooms, four of which were normal-sized, but we were crammed into the two very small, uncomfortable rooms.
The entire experience was utterly disappointing, and the lack of coordination and professionalism within Grue Kashmir's management was appalling. They put my family's health and safety at risk and caused unnecessary stress throughout our trip. I strongly advise against booking with this travel agency – their poor management and deceitful practices are not worth the hassle. Avoid Grue Kashmir at all costs!
