Exceptional Service and Outstanding Support from Global Tourist Centre
This was our third holiday organised by the Global Tourist Centre, headed by Shifa Shaikh . We had previously enjoyed superbly or (Read More)ganised visits to Kerala and Sri Lanka, all of which were faultlessly arranged.
This year’s trip included flights from the UK to India and return together with the necessary visa applications. After a 3-week stay in Goa Shifa arranged a tour of India’s Golden Triangle, comprising 8 days with a personal driver and limousine, staying in excellent 5-star accommodation in Jaipur, Agra and Delhi. We were supported each day by English speaking guides and visited a wide range of outstanding venues.
After completiing the Golden Triangle tour, we flew to Male in the Maldives for a planned seven-day stay in a 5-star resort. Shortly after our arrival, however, war broke out in the Middle East between the US, Israel and Iran, resulting in the cancellation of all westbound flights, including our Gulf-Air connection to Bahrain. This meant an unplanned extensionof our stay in our Maldives resort, while Shifa arranged visas and flights for our return to Goa to await a route back to the UK.
She eventually suceeded this for us and we arrived home safely after almost 7 weeks away.
The pressures placed on Shifa and her staff during this period were considerable, yet they met every challenge with confidence, patience, and complete professionalism. Throughout, we were kept fully informed and were able to relax knowing we were in capable hands.
Overall, Shifa ensured we had an enjoyable Golden Triangle and Maldives experience, while also managing an unpresedented international crisis on our behalf with exceptional skill.
I have no hesitation in recommending the Global Tourist Centre for your holiday and travel needs, and I look forward to using the company again soon.

When I am in India, I always contact Global Tourist centre for their services because they arrange things for me the way I planned in my mind. Last year my trip to Thailand was superb and this year Sr (Read More)i Lanka was arranged for me and it was fantastic.
Last year they helped my family, they had a problem with their visa and Shifa did everything possible to arrange their departure. If you need any help with "moving around" this is the best address.
Global arranged a tour from Goa to Lakshadweep Islands Feb 2025.
Flights and hotels, transfers, ferries……all prebooked and included.
With this trip being on our bucket list for more than 30 yrs so was (Read More) very special to us.
All went extremely smoothly, flights, transfers, ferry boat from Agatti to Bangaram was small and basic but that all they have.
Only one resort, Bangaram Beach resort, is available to foreigners and it is a little dated and not so luxurious. Having said that everything you need is there - fridge, Ac, good shower, cleaning service. You spend no time in the room as it’s so stunning outside. Food (buffet style) was excellent. Good choice, fresh, plenty of it and super tasty. Caters for mostly Indian dishes.
We had the most amazing time and would thoroughly recommend Global to book your tour. They were in contact with us at all times and nothing was too much trouble.
