I recently booked a Manali holiday package through Meenakshi Ma’am, and overall, I’m quite happy with her arrangements and cooperation throughout the tour. She was very supportive and helpful during the entire trip. However, there are a few points I would like to mention as part of my personal review.
Hotel Experience:
The hotel provided was good, and the rooms were very spacious with an amazi (Read More)ng balcony view. However, the complimentary food options were limited, and the taste was not satisfactory. Also, the utensils used for serving looked unhygienic (Pic attached). The hotel was located quite far from the Mall Road, which was a bit inconvenient. It also seemed like the food was not prepared in the hotel itself but arranged from a nearby restaurant.
Cab and Driver Service:
The first driver (Anil) assigned to us was not very friendly. He only covered the points mentioned in the package and didn’t show any flexibility. For example, even though he knew Naggar Castle was closed, he still took us there. When we requested to visit nearby attractions like a monastery or museum (just 1–5 km away), he refused. He always seemed to be in a hurry to finish his duty, often calling repeatedly for us to return early. Because of this, our First and second day was not enjoyable.
After two days, our cab and driver were suddenly changed, and I believe Meenakshi Ma’am might not have been informed about this change. Thankfully, the second driver (Sunny) was extremely friendly and cooperative. He guided us about various places during travel, never rushed us, and didn’t bother us with constant calls. I would strongly suggest that Meenakshi Ma’am continue working with him, as he could make an excellent travel guide for future guests.
Volvo Bus Service:
The Delhi to Manali Volvo was comfortable and well-maintained. However, the return journey (Manali to Delhi) was disappointing — the bus was in very poor condition, almost like a “khatara.” It seemed that the booking agent arranged a cheaper ticket for us. This part of the journey was the worst experience, and I would recommend more attention to Volvo arrangements in the future.
Overall Experience:
Apart from the few issues mentioned above, the trip was well-planned, and Meenakshi Ma’am’s coordination was excellent. I truly appreciate her efforts and hope my feedback helps in improving future travel experiences for other guests.

They were very responsive and also real people. We have a little misunderstanding in the beginning. But after the entire trip they kept their promises. Need to understand also the driver who is driving is person and he also need to sleep and eat in time and can't drive cautiously if he is not got correct rest. Cars are not on disposal they are point to point basis but car and driver are not going (Read More)to change in the trip. If you are choosing hotels please note they are average staying hotel not a 5 star and also you won't get those in budget trip. Yes menu is set anything you change need to paid extra. Anything you are planning extra to visit might take a long drift in change of entire itinerary. So stick to plan. And don't overtake. Long journey nausea can be normal carry polypack for vomiting. Do give break in between. Long hour of drive so that everyone's well and charged up.check sisso and atal tunnel and rotang pass if visiting those time is open. Or else might not able visit to natural climatic situation.
They can have told for 4x4 is required for hills then we could that or else need to take extra cost 4x4 for sissu and atal tunnel and also few holly zones . And if you are 4x4 then easily no change of car. It can easily travel all spots.
Hotels Driver food overall good
We were abandoned at Kempty Falls for nearly an hour. The driver vanished and stopped picking calls. Even the company and the car owner couldn’t reach him. Later, the driver demanded money mid-way through the trip and threatened to drop us if we didn’t pay. Country Travel Point is a scam.
A friend of mine travelled to Simla with his family on a three day package through country travel point and it was coordinated by Mrs. Anita . The trip was a memorable experience . The coordination by Anita was proper and prompt her responses are truly appreciated. They enjoyed the trip well. The driver Mr. Pawan has been very supportive and accommodative. Food at the hotel was good though (Read More)the variety was limited. Only dissatisfaction was with the hotel Sathyam Grand.We were told that it was a three star hotel but there was no basic amenities like lift, ceiling fan and air conditioner. Also the hotel is away from the city centre and to buy anything we need to go into the city and nothing is available in the nearby vicinity of this hotel.

One thing I liked about country travel point was that they trusted me and did not force me for money saying they needed it immediately.
I had a package for Manali from 13-18 may 2025. There was no transparency in things, the package amount was less but after reaching the place it seemed more than what was charged. The driver was being arbitrary, the places and things mentioned in the package were not followed.I had taken this package from Harsha mam but her arrogance spoiled the entire trip.
