Day 1 Nairobi – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Your journey begins with a meet-and-greet by our representative at your Nairobi hotel or at the airport, followed by a short tour briefing. You’ll then set off on a scenic 3-4 hour drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. En route, stop at the equator crossing — a unique photo opportunity at the point that divides the Earth’s northern and southern hemispheres.
Arrive at Sweetwaters Serena Camp just in time for a delicious lunch. After settling in, head out for your first afternoon game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Known for its dense wildlife population, the conservancy offers spectacular sightings in a private, well-managed environment. Return to the camp in the evening for a buffet dinner and unwind in the comfort of your room.

Day 2 Full Day in Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, set out for a full day of exploration in Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Overlooking the majestic peaks of Mount Kenya, this private conservancy is home to all members of the Big Five — lion, elephant, rhino, leopard, and buffalo — along with a variety of other wildlife.
A highlight of the day is your visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only one of its kind in Kenya. This special facility provides a home to orphaned and rescued chimpanzees, offering a rare chance to observe these intelligent primates in a protected natural setting. The conservancy is also a haven for endangered species such as the black rhino, Grevy’s zebra, and Jackson’s hartebeest.
In the evening, return to camp for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3 Morning Game Drive – Return to Nairobi

Enjoy an early breakfast before setting off on your final morning game drive in the conservancy, giving you a chance to spot any wildlife you may have missed. Around 11:00 AM, return to the camp for check-out and begin your drive back to Nairobi.
Upon arrival, you'll be dropped off at your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.

Our safari adventure was superb! We had a large group with 3 vehicles, and the team from RockTrek led us from Nairobi to Masai Mara, then on several excursions into the reserve where we had amazing vi (Read More)ews of the animals, from cheetahs to wildebeasts, lions to gazelles, elephants, zebras, and more. The drivers were so knowledgeable and helpful, the vistas breathtaking, and the lodge excellent. I cannot recommend RockTrek enough; when we return with another group next year, we will most certainly be in contact with them again!
