Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Nairobi - Masaimara
  • You will be picked up from the airport and depart for Masai Mara.
  • Upon arrival, you will check in for lunch and afterwards enjoy an evening game drive starting at 3:00 PM.
  • You will spot animals such as elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, leopards, rhinos, giraffes, wildebeests, antelopes, and ostriches, among many others.
  • In the evening, head back to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
  • Overnight: Mara Simba Village & etc.
  • On this day, you will have a full-day game drive in the park with picnic lunch boxes.
  • You will spot animals such as lions, zebras, rhinos, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, wildebeests, buffaloes, crocodiles, elephants, antelopes, elands, warthogs, hyenas, hippos, monkeys, ostriches, and a hundred bird species, among many others.
  • You can alternatively have a morning and afternoon game drive with a break for a hot lunch at the camp.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at your camp.
  • Overnight: Mara Simba Village & etc.
  • Check out after breakfast and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park.

  • After breakfast, you will check out and depart for Amboseli National Park.
  • Upon arrival, you will check in for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive where you will spot animals and birds of different species.
  • In the evening, head back to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
  • Overnight: Praro Camp Amboseli.
  • You will have an early breakfast.
  • Then, head out with a picnic lunch box for a full day game drive at the park.
  • You will have a beautiful view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
  • During the game drives, you will spot animals such as large herds of elephants, lions, zebras, antelopes, monkeys, hyenas, warthogs, giraffes, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species.
  • In the evening, head back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Just went for 8 day safari with James and Wild Portraits Safaris...it was spot o (Read More)n perfect. Reasons 1.Clear communication and replies always comes very quickly on WhatsApp. 2. Very genuine with suggestions and doesn't do things as a job or formality. 3. James is very knowledgeable. 4. The enthusiasm and passion shown by James was just so infectious. 5. The planning of itinerary takes care of all the finer details. 6. They really take care of your focus and they don't try to sell anything you are not interested in. For example we skipped the village visit because we didn't see value in it. 7. Quite flexible and adjusts as things progress.

The entire trip was handled with extreme professionalism by both Janet and our g (Read More)uide Bonnie. We got to see the Big5 within 3 days of our itenary and more on the next days. Janet was very thorough with our itenary and helped us throughout and Bonnie knew all the best spots on all of our game drives. We didn't feel rushed throughout our tour, because it is designed very well to accomodate enough rest. 10/10 recommend

From the very beginning, Christine and Judith from Donwel Tours were highly atte (Read More)ntive to what we were looking to get from our first ever trip to Kenya, and Africa, for that matter. We wanted to cover a lot of ground, and were going from one agency to another before we found Donwel as most agents couldn't quite squeeze everything we wanted into our itinerary. Judith and Christine however made it all possible. Good quality stays everywhere, regular communication through the trip to ensure we were ok and were getting what we wanted.
