Detailed Itinerary
Arrive at Guwahati International Airport, where our representative will greet you. Begin your journey to Dirang, a serene valley in the foothills of the Himalayas. Explore attractions like the Dirang Monastery, Dirang Dzong, and old Tibetan villages.
Overnight stay in Dirang.
Post breakfast, travel to Tawang. En route, please stop at the Hot Water Springs, Vaisakhi Dosa Point, and Sela Pass (13,700 feet) with its scenic Paradise Lake. Visit the Jaswantgarh War Memorial and Nuranang Waterfalls. In the evening, explore local landmarks in Tawang, including the Tawang Monastery, the Sixth Dalai Lama's birthplace, the Nun Monastery, and the Tawang War Memorial.

Spend a full day exploring the stunning locations around Tawang, such as PTSO Lake, Heart Lake, Sangster Lake, Nagula Lake, Y Junction, and Bum La Pass (India-China border). Note: A minimum of 3 days stay in Tawang is required for Bum La Pass permits.

After breakfast, travel back to Bomdila, a picturesque town in the Himalayan foothills. Explore Bomdila Monastery, Bomdila Market, and Bomdila View Point. Stop at Tipi Orchid Garden en route to Kaziranga. Bomdila is also famous for bird watching at Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary.

Depart for Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Famous for its one-horned rhinoceros, the park also hosts species like the Royal Bengal Tiger, leopards, and Himalayan bison. Visit nearby attractions such as orchid gardens, ethnic villages, and the vast tea gardens.

Begin the day with an early morning Elephant Safari to observe wildlife up close. After breakfast, proceed to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, often referred to as the Scotland of the East. Enjoy scenic views and visit local spots upon arrival in Shillong.
