Kentucky, the birthplace of Louisville Slugger, Bluegrass and home to the Kentucky Derby, offers a wide variety of top-rated tourist attractions in the United States of America. As the 'horse capital of the world', Kentucky boasts equine attractions like the Kentucky Horse Park and the Red Mile Harness Track.

A place with a great assortment of natural springs, extraordinary caves, hiking spots and many more remarkable natural attractions, Kentucky can serve as both a natural retreat as well as a cultural hub. The Kentucky Derby takes place annually on the first Sunday of May at Churchill Downs outside of Louisville. It is, perhaps, the most prestigious derby in the world.

Adjacent to the racetrack, the Kentucky Derby Museum is home to a range of exhibits that delve into the history of the Kentucky Derby as well as Churchill Downs. Louisville is also known for the emblematic Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory which made the baseball bats of Babe Ruth as well as Joe DiMaggio.

In Eastern Kentucky, the Daniel Boone National Forest is a 708,000-acre large park where there are varied terrain and an abundance of wildlife. Towards the south of the Daniel Boone National Forest lies the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park which was previously used as a traffic route by Native Americans. Cumberland is known for the Cumberland Falls State Resort Park which is known as the "Niagara of the South." Kentucky is also the birthplace of the U.S.'s greatest president- Abraham Lincoln.

The Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Park contains the Symbolic Birth Cabin, which is a replica of the room in which he was born. While Kentucky is known for its horses and the Louisville Slugger, it has more up its sleeve. Music, craft beer, cuisine, American history and outdoor activities are only some of the experiences that Kentucky provides. Whether it be for a weekend or a month, the visit to Kentucky is a memorable one.
