Hawaii, USA

Of the 50 states, there is none that is as enigmatic and unique as Hawaii. The state features numerous beaches with scenic views, several active volcanoes, and warm but temperate climate. All of these make Hawaii an attractive retreat for a variety of people starting from surfers and tourists to volcanologists and astronomers. Hawaii is made up of several islands, its population distinctly skewed towards Asian American practices, having been influenced by Eastern Asian culture as well as its strong connection to its own history.

The largest island of Hawaii is Oahu, also home to Hawaii's capital city, Honolulu. This island features a skyline dotted with palm trees and tall buildings, ringed by a shoreline featuring clear blue water and white sand. The north shore of Oahu receives huge wave activity and is one of the most visited of all the beaches in Hawaii. Hawaii has countless beaches and some remain undiscovered within its dense landscape. Easily the most famed location in Hawaii is the Na Pali coastline on the island of Kauai, known as the Green Isle.

One of the most beautiful places on earth, the region that also doubles as a Wildlife Park has lush greenery atop vast mountains with sheltered beaches. It was also the filming location for the Jurassic Park movies! The island of Maui is also one of the most frequented in Hawaii, featuring the famous beach of Kaanapali and the Haleakala National Park that covers half the region. It is home to the Haleakala Volcano that is nearly 10,000 feet high at its peak.

However, the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is far more impressive in this regard, featuring the Klauea and Mauna Loa Volcanoes, two of the largest and most active volcanoes in the world. The island of Molokai is the least developed island in Hawaii but provides the most scenic views. It has numerous national parks and its beaches are usually not full of tourists, making it an ideal leisure spot and a true part of Hawaiian reputation.
