GrossmÙnster is one of the 4 iconic churches of Zurich. It was built in the Romanesque style around the 12th century.
The legend of this church says that the church was built on the graves of Saints Felix and Regula, commissioned by Charlemagne. The church was the inception point of the Protestant reformation in Switzerland, by Huldrych Zwingli. The architecture of the church is widely popular, especially the twin towers. The church also has revamped stained glass windows, added as recently as 1932.
