Dodital Dayara Pass Trek

Dodital Dayara Bugyal nestled at an altitude of 3024 m above the sea level offers some perfect elements of nature and adventure to be regarded as a brilliant trek. It is situated north of Uttarkashi and is flanked by thick cover of oak, pine, deodar and rhododendrons woods.

The lake is a sight of sheer beauty being home to plethora of rare fishes and the Himalayan Golden Trouts. The trail towards this pristine lake commences from Uttarkashi till Kalyani through motorable road and a gradual climb through woods, fields and villages till Agoda.
The route from Agoda to Dodi Tal is quite steep passing through dense virgin forests. Just like Dodi Tal, Dayara Bugyal is place for those seeking solitude and peace amid bounty of nature. Bugyal meaning "high altitude meadow" according to a local language, this place is a paradise for nature lovers. It is blessed with verdant greenery all around perched at an elevation of 10,000 10 12,000 ft. The beauty of the vast meadow is unparalleled and second to none.
During the months of winters it is a sight of sheer beauty offering an option of skiing over its sloped spread across an area of 28 sq kms.
