About 7 km away from the Tura, Pelga Falls is famous for angling and is also an excellent picnic spot. It is relatively free from crowds most of the time, making it ideal for those who shy away from buzzing tourist hotspots. The best time to visit the falls is during the monsoon season when the flow is at its peak. The local people can be seen fishing at the foot of the falls and nearby. Auto-rickshaws ply to this spot for a reasonable fee. Another popular tourist site, situated nearby, is the traditionally constructed Garo Bamboo Bridge, built over the Ganol River.
