The inner wholesale market and its famous tuna auction relocated to Toyosu Market in October 2018, so visitors hoping to see the auction should head there instead. A few rules still apply when browsing the outer market: avoid touching produce, and skip bringing small children or wearing heels. Many visitors round off the trip with freshly made sushi or sashimi at one of the outer market's stalls.
