International flights are available to New Zealand and then one must take a bus or train to Queenstown and then on to Te Anau.
Indians need a visa for entering New Zealand, but there is no separate visa required for entering Te Anau.
Te Anau can be reached through Air Fiordland flights or Southern lakes helicopters. Te Anau does not have any international airports.
It's easy driving into Te Anau, since roads are good, empty and there's plenty of parking space.
There are trains from Queenstown and Milfoird to Te Anau
Since it's a small town it's easy to get around on foot or bicycles. If one takes a car to Te Anau, parking is very easy - either on the main street or at the Firodland Event Centre.
