The Ecological Reserve is known for its 12 freshwater lagoons, five out of which are actually swimmable for tourists. You can visit this Park to explore the iguana habitat, sugarcane exhibition and a petting zoo meant for domestic animals found in Dominican Republic. Hiking on the the trails of this reserve is a great experience in itself. Don't forget to carry your swimwear if you wish to jump into one of the lagoons here.
