A famous and holy temple of Sita Mata is located nearly 15 km from Pauri. Sita Mata Fair organized in the month of May, a small rock comes out in the land which is prayed as Goddess Sita.
It remains out for three days attracting devotees in large number. The rock goes back in earth after three days marking the end of the fair. A Valmiki Temple can also be visited situated nearby.
